Mujtahida: I don't think this answers the point I am trying to make. The point is there are instances Osimhen will be in good positions and the players don't release the ball. This has built into what we saw yesterday. I believe the solution is for Chelle to ensure the application of the requirements of the system. More strict adherence to choosing getting the ball to the man in space than looking for goal. |

Mujtahida:And you think an apology is difficult for a player like Osihmen? unless it's another kind of apology that will be published in the national dailies |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 2:21pm On Jan 06 |
Kog45:You first have to say that all the time Osimhen was in space, the ball was gotten to him. If you can't concur, you have your answer. Deviating from the system is seeking personal glory and not the team's glory. Finito. |

JUST IN: The match between Algeria 🇩🇿 and DR Congo 🇨🇩 at the Africa Cup of Nations tonight will be closely monitored by several FBI agents. An official FBI delegation has been visiting Morocco from January 4–6, 2026, to study the country’s security model during AFCON 2025. The FBI agents will observe crowd management, stadium entry screening, coordination with international police forces, the use of drones, and high-tech video surveillance (CCTV) systems as part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States. This gist na funny gist🤣🤣, but why will CAF appoint a North Africa ref for a match involving Algeria vs DRC….Now even Algeria dont even want their North African rival Egyptian national to officiate the match🤣🤣….DRC no kuku talk anything

TheGoodJoe:It's because the team is scoring goals aplenty that's why many are not bothered now. By the time we start getting more desperate for goals, and they are not coming like now, then people will appreciate your points better, but for now, the sentiments of after all we were leading by 3-0 will cloud many reasoning now, unfortunately. |

Osihmen is a great 👍 player however he needs to calm down and work on his emotions . He was substituted in the 68mins if he had calm down and continue the game ,he might have score two more goals. I read in several dailies that he threatens to go back to turkey ,if this is true ,they should allow him go. I saw two occasions Osayi/ Bruno supposed pass to Osihmen to score ,they decided to shoot ,however this can be handle maturely. |

No matter how this AFCON ends, the NFF must hold Chelle tight. What I am seeing from the Super Eagles is maturity. Calm football, clear ideas, no unnecessary showboating. Just purpose. Direct passes, compact shape, intelligent pressing and discipline on and off the ball. This is not playground football. This is structured, modern, European-style football, adapted wisely to our strengths. Players know their roles. They conserve energy. They suffer when needed and strike when the moment is right. For once, Nigeria looks like a team with a plan, not just talent. Progress is visible. Stability now matters more than knee-jerk reactions. Football development is not magic, it is patience, trust and continuity. Hold Chelle. Let the work grow. Let the team breathe. 🇳🇬⚽ |

That's how Finidi was led astray by hearsay concerning Osimhen choosing games. This time around it is hearsay about threatening to go back to Turkey. Ochlagogues masquerading as media |

Two extreme paths to the Quarters at the Afcon 2025 Mali - 4 games. 4 draws. 3 goals scored (only one from open play, 2 from penalties). 3 goals conceeded. 1 cleansheet. [QUALIFIED FOR QUARTER FINALS] Nigeria - 4 games. 4 wins. 12 goals scored (zero penalties). 4 goals conceeded. 1 cleansheet. [QUALIFIED FOR QUARTER FINALS] In life, the path to the top fit be thru draw soup (crawling) or wins after wins (flying). Like life, Football no balance like that. Lol

True, Osimhen can be rude sometimes and go over the top in his reactions. However, there is something you must know about people like him who are self driven and very ambitious Osimhen is an elite athlete who demands so much of himself and of people around him. Yes, he can be a bit cantankerous sometimes and even agberoish; it is a survival skill and perhaps one of his foibles. But trust me, his intentions was really not to denegrate Ademola Lookman. He just wanted to score some more and win. He wanted the team to maintain the tempo. As he matures as a person and as an athlete, he will learn to manage his emotions better and communicate better. The coach, Eric Chelle, has stepped in and reconciled both players. The dust is settled, please let's not raise it again. We need Lookman and Osimhen firing on all cylinders. They are easily two of our best players. The AFCON title is within reach, let's encourage the team to be unified. Victory is before us. |

minfelix:His threat to leave the team will surely destabilize the team . Abeg his teammates are not children ,they are all playing to win .In this tournament I can count 8 chances Osihmen wasted but his teammates never harass him . If a player can leave the team and threaten to leave , if I was the coach I will grant his request |
