Mybettingtips:
Yes they are very poor. They are defending hard but they can’t string 3-5 good passes together. You’ve forgotten how they outplayed us. I can’t see same performance from them in this match.
It’s Algeria they are playing o not Sudan

Eric Chelle should have it in mind that Iwobi might be double marked in the quarter finals. It's clear now that he's the main guy who orchestrates our best attacking chances from deep.
Exactly what I was thinking, to stop this Nigeria team, mark out Iwobi. But it will be a difficult task cos the guy drop very deep atimes giving me this Pirlo vibe.

Would be hard to mark him when he orchestrates from deep, almost on the CB's line

If I'm Chelle, and I notice that Iwobi is being marked out, I'm bringing in double trouble combo of Chukwueze and Onyedika. angry

I go prefer play this Algeria than this Congo team

DRC Defence and midfield too strong and robust

DRC needs to be scanned for the sledgehammers and diggers they are carrying in their jerseys because this physicality is something else

My people, work dey o. I am impressed with Algeria and DR Congo from wetin I don see for this first half.

Both of them wont be a stroll in the park for our Super Eagles. We gats bring our A-game if we hope to defeat them.

Anytime I watch Congo game the it rekindles the pain of missing the world cup . I hope they lose today so I don't see them again . Congolese players are very physical and strong
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 6:01pm On Jan 06
But not as fast. The Nigerian dynamic 4-3-1-2 relies on quick transitions with Lookman, Akor and Osimhen immediately on the prowl once the ball gets into the final third. The DRC defence wont keep up for long against such Nigerian pressure.

Let's just pray they go on to extra time. I'm noticing Algeria are also struggling with Congo's set pieces but I still believe we will win DRC if we meet them again cause we now play a slightly different setup plus we have sharper finishing. of course it won't be easy

This edition of AFCON might be the toughest in a long while. Whoever wins deserves the best in Africa mantle

The amazing thing is that he’s still playing from the very same position he was last Afcon but now offering more offensively and dictating the tempo of the game at intervals na dat one sweet me pass. Nothing that guy can do wrong again in my eyes.
I tell you. But because of the pairing of Ndidi and Onyeka, Iwobi is now free to do his thing.

Bia Banky. When 47 become 50?

Anyway, Lookman also hit 20 G+A (11 goals, 9 assists) in 38 NT Caps (30 starts) for Nigeria yesterday.

Just miffed how the media milking the onfield drama has overshadowed the various stats that result gave us yesterday.
Jesus 😂

I dey type 34 goals but na 37 my eyes dey see 😂 I don smoke o 🙆🏾‍♂️

The fact Lookman actually said that as his way of wanting Osimhen to shelf his frustrations is another angle to tackle but I choose not to. All I can say is yes, Lookman should not have said that at all. It was not mature.

Damn... just look at the silence from the Osimhen Crucifiers now. It is damn silly to react quickly and condemn without knowing the whole facts.

Anyway, who be Isaac Promise wey this man dey call sef? Abeg ooo
Maybe na Moses Simon baba dey call Isaac Promise 😂

The Present DRC team does bring comparisons to the Cameroonian team of the early 2000s ONLY IN TERMS OF PHYSICAL SIZE AND POWER.

The Cameroonian team was far more powerful offensively and technically way better. Defensively, Cameroon also looked more resolute but DRC not far off in this dept.
