Osimhen should also work on his offside traps... He has lost 3 goals to offside in this competition... By now he's supposed to be leading scorer.... And almost catching up with Yekini's record
I agree bro and no one seems to mention this...in the last afcon, osimehn was caught offside 9 times in 9 games and now he has lost 3 goals to offside.

His spatial awareness seems to be poor because the first goal we scored against Mozambique that got cancelled in the first minute would have been a clear goal had osimehn not rush too forward... people will say his teammates are holding the ball to long but it's usually the opponent defenders who slow themselves down letting osimehn run past them cause they know how poor his spatial awareness is

I really hope he fixes this cause as a pro footballer you shouldn't be making this baby mistakes over and over again...it's really dumb honestly

Look at the chance Simon missed at the dime minute, you would see how he made sure to stay onside by calming himself and timing his run but he unfortunately missed it.... osimehn would have been 5 meters ahead of the defender had he been in the same position

but why are you trying to force your own narrative on us ...? we all saw what happened on the pitch ... even the clip that was flying around showed Osimhen ranting at Lookmon ,it means the issue was btw them ...Lookmon was at a point selfish against Tunisia too . Bruno or no Bruno , Osimhen should learn how to talk to his team mates . i remembered when he scored against Tunisia or Tanzania .... he went to warn somebody ... no be all fight you go fight , you have to leave some . my write up only faulted the 2 of them .
Bros make we move on, wishing the team all the best.

This Congo can just score in the dying mins and that’s the end. That’s what they did to Cameroon in the playoffs. Very dangerous side

I pity people wishing to play DRC due to the urge to have a revenge. These guys are too strong in defence and midfield and generally, they are very fast and physical.

It is not the job of the captain to be cautioning anybody during the match. That’s why we have coach. This is not local football.

The only time any player should raise their voice on another player is to call their attention esp during set pieces. There’s absolutely no place for a pro player to be cautioning his fellow teammate on the pitch. That’s amateur nonsense you find in Ibadan or Onitsha street football.
Then you re wrong. The captain is always the closest to the players when these glory hunting happen. If he can't talk to his fellow players to play more as a team, then why is he the captain. Simply put. Our captain is docile. I have seen CR7 talk to his teammates when they eff up.

They all look like CB and DM

The most dangerous teams are the ones without star players

Amoura really smoked Mbemba in that 1v1... just didnt get his angle right before shooting. He is yet to score at this Afcon. A lethal finisher in the bundesliga though.

Their defenders dont do well against pace. Amoura just showed that mins ago. They are up against a North African side so physically, they will have the edge. When they faced Benin, a West African side in the first round, it was a different ball game physically.

It's that Maza I've more apprehensive about chief. He's quite good in finding little pockets of space. These guys should do well at the world cup

haba, for wetin? as how na. DRC is just a recent resurgence; let them earn their place among the big boys over time. Winning games like this is what will begin to announce them more and more on the big stage, and they need to do it consistently, Afcon after Afcon!

I'm enjoying this duel from both Algeria vs DRC...

PREFERS DRC TO THIS ALGERIAN SIDE. HIGHLY TECHNICAL.

WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN TWO NIL UP EVEN IN OUR WORST STATE.

You’re right on the pace thing. Algerias build up play has generally been their undoing. They’re trying to speed things up now.

But they were in the semis last time. This is easily a quarter final for AFCON.
