The stadium will be packed on Saturday.. Algerian fans will be out in their numbers
That's another reason why I wanted DRC. Even Moroccans might support them to avoid us if they get past Cameroon

Yes ofcos. They had 2 subs left. And Ramiz Zerrouki was chosen ahead of even Adem Zorgane. A masterclass sub. And Boulbina... that right leg omo. He cut in and did a solid.

See ehn, Mbemba's side of defence cracked. He picked up a knock but the coach didnt wanna take him off. He gave the ball away and Algeria came very close but were saved by Mpasi.

Algeria came again and attacked that side. Bissaka did not recover on time and the Algerian offensive transition found Boulbina who had space to pick out that strike because Mbemba did not provide secondary cover for Bissaka. The knock made him even slower.

Algeria have knocked out the most physical side at this Afcon.

BankyGee:
Na two subs wey the Algerian coach do combine for that goal o 😳

I would have preferred DR Congo.
This DRC team is average as they come.

We would have disgraced this team.

We just don't do well against Algeria.
They always find ways to defeat us.

They are just so naturally technical (Zidane, Mahrez, Benzema, etc).
They are who the Moroccans thought they are!

I am not so confident, we can beat them.
We shall see.

Algeria is good because they are a top team, they have the big name that would make the boys sit up from the first minute….

This drc revenge team may have backfired, now it’s two big team fighting…

Mujtahida:
Remove Ghana. They won 4 Afcon when the tournament was hosting 8 teams. In fact I'm thinking of petitioning CAF to withdraw two of their titles.
grin grin
Ghana did not qualify for this year’s AFCON but they are fully supporting their husband, Mr. Comoros, in the competition grin

which Algeria?

Algeria that could only just win in 2019, even their star squad of 2017 got thrashed by Nigeria…

Algeria will collect.

In the past we are used to beating Algeria , it was when our football declined that they tried to match up with us .... If SE can go in with the same fighting spirit .. we can punish them . only if Nwbabali didnt sleep off .

The Algerians did not get off their first shot on target vs DRC until Min 77.

After that it took 5 more shots on target before they could crack DRC who had fallen back on a PSO plan.

Hello guys, I know I've made some predictions here that came to pass.
I predicted Nigeria winning by 2 to 4 goals against Mozambique and this game BTW Algeria and DRC, I predicted a win for Algeria.
But as it stands now with what I'm seeing with this Algerian team cheesy cheesy make una keep your cards to your chest guys.
Our backline will have a difficult job stopping them to be honest.
We miss Fedrick Benjamin. And we Miss Ola Aina.

Nigeria's Super Eagles vs Algeria's Fennec "Desert" Foxes.

The only teams left with 100% record at Afcon 2025.

It would be an interesting battle.

The stage is now set North Africa vs West Africa . Southern African teams back home .Men separated from the boys . CAF president would have prefer regional qualification method to allow more Southern African countries to qualify for world cup ,similar method he used for under 17 and 20
