FiveFootNinja:Which useless point is that😂🤣😂 Simple question have u gone past the round of 16 before..? Yes or No ? Hahahaha And since 82 uve not been able to equal our afcon wins dude bow ur head in shame Dude u failed to qualify for the world cup period no one cares about the position u got in the group… Dude are u talking about math and logic with me so 4 and 3 which is bigger? Dude win this afcon then we can talk as equals not now 😂😂😂😂 |

mank1234:The 120 mins against Gabon was another factor for us even in the last Afcon final the extra time and penalty shootout we played against SA in the semis affected our boys. These things do count most times |

JohnBullMySon:Their goalie is not tall too. We will come out to play against them unlike DRC so pumping the balls few times into the box to find osimhen et al should get us something |

Kilishihunter:Mali escaped by the skin of their teeth and the gracious Obanterla who came through for them. Getting a PK at the death is a stroke of luck. I don't expect them to lie down against Senegal though. Saintfiet after all has proven he can set up to score goals (when he coached Gambia). |

Kilishihunter:Tunisia na terrorist team in AFCON tournaments. They have no real attacking threat. |

Swanzi:You said you had a better World Cup record, and I just proved it false. You didn't argue. So I'll assume that you've accepted your foolishness on that point. ![]() And a quarter finals run doesn't mean you had a better record. That's just one tournament. To determine who has the better record, we examine overall performance in different years for consistency, and we beat you there. So again, pipe down. And since 82 uve not been able to equal our afcon wins dude now ur head in shameWhen you last won the trophy we had just 1 title. Since then we won two more while you still latch on to rusted and ancient glory. Based on probability and the atrocious state of your football, we're likely to win two to three more trophies before you get your fifth. ![]() Dude u failed to qualify for the world cup period no one cares the position u got in the group…Finishing 2nd is not as disgraceful as finishing bottom in a group that had Niger Republic. SHAME must be your first name. Dude are u talking about math and logic with me so 4and 3 which is bigger? Dude win this afcon then we can talk as equals not now 😂😂😂😂At this point in your football, you're not even equal to Sudan. ![]()

2025 AFCON quarterfinalists: Nigeria Algeria Egypt Senegal Mali Morocco Cameroon Ivory coast/Burkina Faso If Ivory coast win today ,it will be the first time in AFCON history where all the quarter finalists did not lose any group match. This is a tough draw . What ivory coast coach is doing is what we thought Finidi George will do as local coach lol 😆 |

Ghana and Tunisia are former powerhouse in African football ..Ghana won AFCON last in 1982 since then nothing to show for .No doubt they have good players but nothing much to show for |

It is not strange at all. They do nearly mirror each other and in terms of quality, the Tunisian midfield is not far off from the Algerian midfield. Eintracht Frankfurt have 2 starter midfielders at this Afcon. One plays for Tunisia and the other for Algeria. Iwobi is not the only lad who gets the ball into the final third. We can always switch things up. And ofcos we will exploit our aerial threats vs Algeria with Osimhen as the Prime target. We did this vs Tunisia too. Look, the Algerians can be beaten in similar manner we took out Tunisia but with tweaks in certain offensive approaches. DRC for all their powerplays in defence and midfield lack that final third potency. If they had that, Algeria would not had survived today. The Algerians struggled in the first half vs DRC and took time to grow into the game and had their own first real threat in the 77th min. Against Burkina Faso (another solidly decent and physical subsaharan side), they also struggled to hurt the Burkinabes except from the penalty spot, same team CIV is taking apart right now. Algeria will be the home team and their home color is white. Hopefully, we wear our Green color. Our Green is more attractive. |

That was some goal similar to that Sudan goal vs Senegal. I hope we get similar goal too. Algeria like Tunisia imo |

Well worded. Brilliantly written. Cited the key tactical tweaks Chelle executed and how it has unleashed Iwobi's best and Lookman's beast mode. The overdependence on wingers really did us in at Afcon 2021 especially. Eguavoen ehn... kaaai. We suffer. The thin midfield 2 was becoming a real thorn in our plays. But thanks goodness for Chelle's tactical eureka moments. Danielnino00: |
