I am now caught between two fires: an Algerian among Nigerians, and a Nigerian among Algerians. I hope the better team wins, even though I lean toward Nigeria.

Dear Riyhad Mahrez and team,

To err is woman, to forgive is Dubai. Who pack poopoo no dey forget, na who poo poo dey forget. We've not forgotten that heartbreaking free kick.
The heart longeth for the ransom which ye shall pay in fulleth thereof.

You said you had a better World Cup record, and I just proved it false. You didn't argue. So I'll assume that you've accepted your foolishness on that point. grin

And a quarter finals run doesn't mean you had a better record. That's just one tournament. To determine who has the better record, we examine overall performance in different years for consistency, and we beat you there. So again, pipe down.

When you last won the trophy we had just 1 title. Since then we won two more while you still latch on to rusted and ancient glory. Based on probability and the atrocious state of your football, we're likely to win two to three more trophies before you get your fifth. cheesy

Finishing 2nd is not as disgraceful as finishing bottom in a group that had Niger Republic. SHAME must be your first name.

At this point in your football, you're not even equal to Sudan. grin
Yes,we are not even equal to Sudan but we are better than Nigeria at least in head to head hope u did counting in class one😂🤣😂🤣😂

What’s the point in finishing 2nd when u still failed to qualify is that what u console urself with ? Hahahaha u failed period no long talk😂🤣😂🤣😂

In 50 years u have still not equaled our record that’s the fact please don’t bore me with probabilities and theories , win ur 4th one before you come to the table of men untill then shush 🤫

How can a country whose not gone past the round of 16 have any better records than Ghana 🇬🇭
Dude the only consistent record u had in the World Cup is Argentina 🇦🇷 anally having thier way with u😂🤣😂🤣😂
The record still stand it’s only Cameroon Senegal Ghana and recently Morocco who have had an impact sorry Nigeria is not part

They should not underrate tom saintfiet sha with how they won Tunisia despite getting an early red card. I read the coach has been sacked sef
Abeg Senegal should wipe out Mali before they use this their non regulation time wins to enter final

Well worded. Brilliantly written. Cited the key tactical tweaks Chelle executed and how it has unleashed Iwobi's best and Lookman's beast mode.

The overdependence on wingers really did us in at Afcon 2021 especially. Eguavoen ehn... kaaai. We suffer. The thin midfield 2 was becoming a real thorn in our plays. But thanks goodness for Chelle's tactical eureka moments.
This 2 man midfield issue was the more reason I wasn't too keen on Peseiro to continue... Chelle obviously saw the flaws in the set up as time went by because he too was obsessed with the set up in the past...
I wanted to say, 3-5-2 would have been perfect, but it would mean Akor won't play, and Akor really complement Osimhen up front with his physicality, hold up play, and ability to pick balls from deep....

Even if we don't win this AFCON, the NFF must keep Chelle...they must keep him at all cost....if they let him go and bring in some overzealous local coach or another grade D journeyman,I'll loss it..

Ghana don wash. They are no longer a powerhouse. They are like Uruguay that won 2 world cups in the 1930's.

I don't know but I just feel this Adam is underated. He hardly have bad games since he started playing for the SE. Whenever Osimhen isn't playing, I would suggest we try him as our point man and go to striker. He has the physic, height and he plays technically
He thrives in 2 man striker formation upfront. Only him cannot fit in as main striker. But Osimhen does. All rounded striker.

That was some goal similar to that Sudan goal vs Senegal. I hope we get similar goal too. Algeria like Tunisia imo
Akor tried something similar yesterday but the keeper parried it.

We need to be clinical against Algeria. They will find it hard to respond if they concede. I mean, they will concede against us for sure

DRC is playing exactly how Nigeria and Npfl used to play and win matches

Highly physical Off the ball marking

And beat you on the break with a quick counter

Now we’ve adopted technicality football at the cost of our physicality

Now we complain that our boys are tired for playing 120mins 😔
We were not always physical bro.

Na Peseiro and Rohr introduce that nonsense

Head to head, we have the upper hand in the last 20 years. Most of your wins over us happened barely after World War 2 grin. Tell me when last did you see your country lift a trophy in any major tournament. Add the women's team too. I'll wait. grin

What’s the point in finishing 2nd when u still failed to qualify is that what u console urself with ? Hahahaha u failed period no long talk😂🤣😂🤣😂
The point is people can look at our FIFA WC qualifying group and say "they almost made it". Same people would look at your AFCON qualifying group and consider you the biggest disappointment in African football for all your history and pedigree. grin grin

In 50 years u have still not equaled our record that’s the fact please don’t bore me with probabilities and theories , win ur 4th one before you come to the table of men untill then shush 🤫
All this ramblings just to distract from the fact that your football has been on a steady decline for the past 50 years. grin

How can a country whose not gone past the round of 16 have any better records than Ghana 🇬🇭
Simple. We have more total wins and WC appearances. Check the stats.

Dude the only consistent record u had in the World Cup is Argentina 🇦🇷 anally having thier way with u😂🤣😂🤣😂
Same way Uruguay has disrespected, spat on you and penetrated you on global TV. cheesy

The record still stand it’s only Cameroon Senegal Ghana and recently Morocco who have had an impact sorry Nigeria is not part
Imagine talking about impact on the African stage when you lost out on AFCON qualification to Niger and Sudan. It's the biggest form of disrespect to Senegal and Morocco to call their names and then shamelessly insert your country in the same sentence. grin cheesy grin grin

Mali are the only team in the quarter final that aren't former champions..

Chelle would have been wary of Tunisia too , that didnt lose any match until he met SE , and conceded 3 good goals grin but its good to be wary of opponents that are technical , Algeria has shown that they are good ,if we can beat them it will be be nice ....
