Why did Osihmen lash out to Lookman? Thats very Childish, is he the only person to score? Lookman is clearly performing better than him in this tournament, Let it not be that he is jealous oo. He needs to keep his head down, this his attitude should not be tolerated. Him and Lookman are the same level in football. He needs to manage his ego
I did not see where lookman lashed out or pointed at lookman.

Victor was explaining something to Lookman.(V09 was visibly upset and I could notice that he cloth the tips of his fingers to explain the source of his frustration) go watch again.

It seems I watched a different game.
It is obvious some fans just want to talk down and boo him just as the fans at the stadium did.
You may not like his attitude for demanding for team play, but modifying what did not happen to suit your narrative is uncalled for.
Some of you do worse than what Osimhen is accused of right here on this thread.
Most of you including the media (accidental content creators) crucifying Victor have not taken a moment to analyse what really went on.
Na follow follow ona dey do. Why should the fans boo him. If I were him I would have done same. We lost the match against DR Congo because Lookman failed give a simple pass to V09 in the first half of the game.

Dude has done a lot for the national team and I do not think it is out of place for him to demand for more supplies from his mates to score more goals. Does he not deserve more service to score more? Come on.

Some of you fans behave as if you have never been upset with your family/Church members, workmates or even done worse than he has done. Be perfect when e reach your turn.

Nigerian fans that booed Osimhen where just very ungrateful without understanding what transpired on the field. Osimhen was only explaining his frustration to Lookman.

Algeria has not met even one decent attacking team, they go see shege on Saturday grin

Is it Sudan, eq. Guinea, Burkina Faso or DrC attack?

Drc is very poor at attack only muscle and midfield defense…

Algeria will collect well, they might score but we will out score them.

lol

I would have preferred DR Congo.
This DRC team is average as they come.

We would have disgraced this team.

We just don't do well against Algeria.
They always find ways to defeat us
.

They are just so naturally technical (Zidane, Mahrez, Benzema, etc).
They are who the Moroccans thought they are!

I am not so confident, we can beat them.
We shall see.
is it not the same people rohr used to do suya home and away in 2018 WCQ grin grin.

Head to head, we have the upper hand in the last 20 years. Most of your wins over us happened barely after World War 2 grin. Tell me when last did you see your country lift a trophy in any major tournament. Add the women's team too. I'll wait. grin

The point is people can look at our FIFA WC qualifying group and say "they almost made it". Same people would look at your AFCON qualifying group and consider you the biggest disappointment in African football for all your history and pedigree. grin grin

All this ramblings just to distract from the fact that your football has been on a steady decline for the past 50 years. grin

Simple. We have more total wins and WC appearances. Check the stats.

Same way Uruguay has disrespected, spat on you and penetrated you on global TV. cheesy

Imagine talking about impact on the African stage when you lost out on AFCON qualification to Niger and Sudan grin cheesy grin grin
And with all ur pedigree u still missed the World Cup with 10 slots to spare ouch in group with minnows 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

Nothing can be compared to what Argentina has been doing to you a century now😂🤣😂🤣😂
Ur their bonafide wives😂😂😂😂
At least we drew with Uruguay and lost in penalties have u even drawn with Argentina before hahahaha

Useless World Cup appearances with nothing to show for have u gone past round of 16 before ? Do u know how it feels to prepare a quarter final match in World Cup with all ur appearances? Pls I need a yes or no answer no long epistles 😂😂😂🤣

You can’t decide to pick and choose which statictic to use we have more wins than you period..!!!
And yes my country won the FIFA under 20 World Cup something u can never achieve no matter what hehehehe now the wait is over😂🤣😂🤣😂

Yes even in our weakest our we are ur nemesis that’s why we prevented u from going to Qatar in ur capital Abuja hahahahahahahaha

This is African football heritage!

Mali are the only team in the quarter final that aren't former champions..

It's going to be a cracking quarter final match up
Tunisia going through would have made it a complete former champs standoff. This afcon is so tough nobody can totally predict who will win it

Nigerians are self righteous people. Victor is our man and he's human like the rest of us. It breaks my heart that people are making this an Osimhen versus Lookman clash or rivalry.

Missing a World Cup spot by a single point is forgivable. Finishing dead last in an AFCON group with Sudan and Niger is a national emergency. cheesy

Nothing can be compared to what Argentina has been doing to you a century now😂🤣😂🤣😂
Ur their bonafide wives😂😂😂😂
At least we drew with Uruguay and lost in penalties have u even drawn with Argentina before hahahaha
We lose to Messi. Okay. You lost to Comoros, Cape Verde, Mozambique, Sudan and Niger Republic. We are not the same. Comparing a rivalry with the World Champions to your struggles against part-time footballers is pure delusion.

Useless World Cup appearances with nothing to show for have u gone past round of 16 before ? Do u know how it feels to prepare a quarter final match in World Cup with all ur appearances? Pls I need a yes or no answer no long epistles 😂😂😂🤣
No, I don’t know how it feels to live in 2010. I only know how it feels to live in 2026. You're like a 50 year old man still bragging about his inter-house sport exploits back when he was 6 in primary school. Why not focus on your present reality, where your men's national team haven't won a trophy in 50 years? How many trophies does your female team have? Those ones just go to women's AFCON to mark register. Serial failures. grin grin

You can’t decide to pick and choose which statictic to use we have more wins than you period..!!!
Most of those "wins" you had happened when football was still made of lace and leather. In the digital age, you're a ghost. If we look at the last 20 years, you're just a footnote in our success story.

And yes my country won the FIFA under 20 World Cup something u can never achieve no matter what hehehehe now the wait is over😂🤣😂🤣😂
Flexing a U-20 trophy from 2009 in a 2024 conversation is the biggest indicator of a finished country that can never ever achieve greatness again. All that is in the past. From now on it's disappointment after disappointment. You’re celebrating a youth trophy because your senior team has been allergic to gold for half a century. cheesy

Yes even in our weakest our we are ur nemesis that’s why we prevented u from going to Qatar in ur capital Abuja hahahahahahahaha
You stopped us from going to Qatar just so the whole world could watch you finish 27th out of 32 teams. grin grin cheesy grin

You didn't go there to play, you went there to represent failure. Congratulations. grin grin

3 actually (the draw we had with them was given as a 3-0 win because of the ineligible player)

1 at the AFCON SF and two friendlies.

One of the best AFCON quarterfinal matchups of the modern era:

MLI 🇲🇱 vs. 🇸🇳 SEN
CAM 🇨🇲 vs. 🇲🇦 MOR
ALG 🇩🇿 vs. 🇳🇬 NGA
EGY 🇪🇬 vs. 🇨🇮 CIV . Up super eagles .
