Make una rest ooo… I plead with una… It’s all settled… let’s all calm pls… Osimhen is critical to our Nation… A Yoruba proverb goes thus “A child will not misbehave to the point it’s parent will throw him to the wolves to devour”… |

See wetin Algeria's Amoura do to the "Statue" of DRC. Now that is what you call wickedness. We must deal with Amoura on Saturday. No breathing space for that Wolfsburg midget

Goke7:You're taking sides which is what you preach against. Its been established that the whole scenario wasn't about Lookman vs Osimhen, and I believe you should close this chapter. And the "I told you so" part? Grossly unnecessary. Abeg, let's move past this. |

TheSuperNerd:No wahala, I hope there are more where that came from, but know it that he who turns himself to grains of rice has already reduced himself to a mere food for the wild birds. For now, I will focus on Algeria, and he is fielded, he'd have my full support as always. |

Goke7:Osimehn shouldn't have reacted like that because the only reason why you would lose a 3 up advantage is poor defence...he should've been clamoring for mass defense and high possession of the ball not more goals especially when few minutes remained That's what they need to be doing against Algeria....score early, score at least 2 or three, mass defend and possess the game till the last minute |

Wasn't Chelle the coach of an Algerian side before we snapped him up? Let's see what he's learnt about Algerian football come Saturday. |

TheSuperNerd:CAF suppose to punish the player as that was too provocative, yes that mobile statute 😂 as annoying as it is especially playing against Congo brought so much glamour to the competition and am happy to see the CAF president meeting and taking photos with the guy to recognise the colour he added to the AFCON. Amoura shouldn’t be doing this and his FA should be fined if they don’t want to punish the player directly. |

Goke7:I don't think it warrants such punishment. It's good to know that even Algerian fans are not happy with his mocking the guy. |

Understand 19-year-old winger Sani Suleiman is drawing interest from Spurs, Frankfurt, Anderlecht and Sevilla. No teenager from outside Europe’s big-five leagues has more progressive ball carries per 90 minutes this season (5.54). Slovak side AS Trenčín want around €6m.🇳🇬 @BenJacobs

Former Super Eagles forward Brown Ideye: “You guys should calm down over this Victor Osimhen matter. Allow the boys to focus on the next task ahead. What he said was right, but the way the message was delivered was wrong. I have seen players do more than what he did. He should have addressed it in the dressing room, not on the pitch. But these things happen in football; it’s normal. He’s not the first player to do this, and he won’t be the last. Up Eagles.” [One joblessboy] |

The last time we played Algeria, they were like a gang—well-organized, united, and playing as one. They had a good coach, strong chemistry, and did everything together. Coincidentally, that was the same year they went on to win the AFCON. I believe we now have the advantage. The Super Eagles are united, playing with high intensity, and showing real togetherness. This will likely be the toughest match at the quarterfinal stage, and we should expect plenty of spectacular moments. We must be ready to beat them—there is no room for error. The Algerians are fast and dangerous on the counterattack. They are threats from long-range shots, set pieces, and even individual dribbles. The Eagles will have their hands full. A balanced midfield will be key to getting the desired result, and with the quality we have in attack, we have every reason to be confident. i am predicting the semifinalist to be Senegal ,Morocco ,Nigeria ..... Egypt/Cotedvoire will be difficult to predict .what is your take ? |

Kilishihunter:He's been vociferously condemned by Algerians for his unsportmanship and ignorance. The man who killed Lumumba was arrested in Algeria. So that historical connection is there. Both nations see themselves as brothers who suffered under colonial occupation. |

Bassey,Onyeka and Ndidi will have to play with caution…any of them that picks up a yellow card will miss the semifinal if we beat Algeria. This match will produce many yellow cards and maybe one red card🤦🏽♀️ from any of the teams Last time it took a freekick to beat our south african based Akpeyi, will history repeat itself with another south african based Nwabali 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🙆🏾♂️ |
