In eight years as the Lagos state Governor, did BAT fix all the public hospitals?

Except Badagry general hospital has been recently fixed by Sanwo Olu, it was a complete disgrace all through BAT’s tenure. What about other primary healthcare centers?

Reno Omokri got his ambassadorial job using Obi’s name. Tinubu would not have looked his way and he knows that.

Obi continues to our food on the table of many and they fail to acknowledge it to their supporters. Do you need a job, or political favour? Simply mention Obi’s name and you will get it.
Is this really the rebuttal to what Reno talked about?

If Mr Obi have not served at both state and federal level and access his performances, we would have taken him as hero Nigerians need.

Zero impact on the youth! Infact too low for zero! His tirades continue to damage more and more the medulla oblongata of Agbadorians.

Now, compare this agama lizard with VDM?

Can you see how the later is countinually blessing our youths on a daily basis?
He talks more than people that are helping the youths.
He can't use his political office and connections to help his village people.
I mean common something like borehole he can't drill for his people or encourage the government to assist his people but he will coming online to look for non sense relevant.
This is the man that benefited from Jonathan,Atiku and now Tinubu yet he can't give it back to the society.

Big shame

Just answering a simple question is what’s making you compose an epistle about religion and baseless facts.

Which court of law convicted Tinubu of a crime?

Ask me for that of donald Trump and I will tell you.

nairalanda1:
The truth of the matter is, no state can run good healthcare.

States don't earn enough in revenue, nether do they get enough from government, and then the corruption and stealing makes things worse.

But here is the truth, an average state in nigeria probably has a health budget of 200 billion naira. AT MOST. And that;s for teaching hospitals, secondary hosptials, and PHC. (and in one state's case, a quaternanry hospital)..the result being none of them can afford to upgrade or run well.

Yes, countries do well on PHC...Cuba for example. But Cuba also does some aggressive preventive health, because if they didn't they won't be able to afford health care well. Nigeria is a broke naiton, with leaders and followers who have wrong ideas about economic growth...and a larger population, so that makes healthcare worse.

At the end of the day, statres and federal government have to tax more of their gdp and become more productive. Maybe we would see improvement, maybe not

But Reno should not blast only Obi, he should blast every governor, tinubu included.
Please remove tinubu from the list he setup a credible system for health in lagos , find below detailed information thanks to gemini about Tinubu's health care contribution to lagos state , funny enough he built 50 phc while the Obi shouting 1000 phc only built 10 .

During his tenure as Governor of Lagos State (1999–2007), Bola Ahmed Tinubu focused on decentralizing the healthcare system and expanding access to rural and underserved communities. While the total number of public primary health centers in Lagos has grown significantly since then, his administration is specifically credited with establishing approximately 50 Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs).

His strategy combined the construction of new facilities with the comprehensive renovation and upgrading of existing ones to ensure every ward had a functional health post.

1. Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs)
Establishment of ~50 PHCs: Tinubu’s administration built and commissioned around 50 new primary healthcare centres across various wards in Lagos to bring basic medical care closer to the grassroots.
Key Locations: Documented projects were completed in communities such as Aboru, Agbado, Isheri Ikosi, Ipaja, Lekki, Elemoro, Topo, and Ayetoro, among others.
Asiwaju Bola Tinubu Comprehensive PHC: One of the most prominent facilities named after him is the Comprehensive PHC in Aboru (Alimosho LGA), which serves as a major hub for primary care in that axis.

2. Secondary Healthcare (General Hospitals)
In addition to the PHCs, Tinubu significantly expanded the state's secondary health capacity by building five new General Hospitals in the following areas:
Mushin
Isolo
Ikorodu
Badagry
Ifako-Ijaiye

3. Institutional Reforms and Specialized Care
Tinubu’s healthcare legacy in Lagos is often defined more by institutional reform and specialized programs than by the raw count of buildings:
LASUTH: In 2001, he upgraded the Ikeja General Hospital to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), providing the state with its first dedicated tertiary teaching facility.
HEFAMAA: He established the Lagos State Health Facility Monitoring and Accreditation Agency to regulate the quality of both private and public health facilities.
Jigi Bola: He launched the "Blindness Prevention Programme," popularly known as Jigi Bola, which provided free eye screenings, surgeries, and glasses to millions of Lagosians.
LASAMBUS: He initiated the Lagos State Ambulance Service (LASAMBUS) to provide rapid emergency response across the state’s highways.

Summary of the Count:
While the current number of PHCs in Lagos exceeds 320, Bola Tinubu’s administration is recognized for laying the foundation by establishing about 50 new PHCs and 5 General Hospitals, alongside a massive revitalisation of the state's primary health management board.

Ahem...how many of them will be functioning in the next 20 years?

How much of a percentage of GDP is Lagos spending on healthcare?

Yeah, those are the questions most of you guys don't want to answer.

Have been around for some time, and I have heard the same thing over and over again. MY governor built 100 hospitals in five years...whether those hospitals be working in fifty years time, no concern about that.

Oh.. this message is nuisance?

Fact check him first.

Tinubu could excuse his own nonsense by saying the governor didn't do his job. What about this allegation? What does ya Peter Obi have to say for himself or what do you have to say for him aside attacking the messenger?

You political minions are the worse... You do not see how these so-called politicians work together to keep you impoverished....

The issue is that Reno is thoughtless and very shallow despite his self-adulation and perception of importance; he's not been able to decode that he's currently in a limbo and won't get to act as an ambassador or designate because there's no money to fund foreign offices and therefore tinubu only mafe the announcement to quieten them a lil bit until hrs sure of his 2027 fate. The ever-reliable table shaker, Ambassador Reno Omokiri, has once again peeled back the curtain on the overnight messiah.

Predictably, instead of producing a single shred of counter-evidence, they will rather go for their favourite intellectual tool, a full-blown insult marathon, carefully crafted to avoid the actual issue exposed.

These are the same people who roam social media day and night screaming “rigging” like a broken alarm clock. One is left to wonder, what exactly do they think Nigerians are, amnesiacs, mindless spectators, or simply an audience for noise without substance?

Read the topic and disprove Reno. The topic is about Pitobi achievements in health sector, not any BAT or Badagry talks. You can create a thread for those ones but this thread is not for that.
