RAW is good. But they're not in the same class as CIA, MI6 or Mossad. And the other one, IS-what?

Exactly what the guy is saying that RAW and ISI are also good apart from those you listed above, India ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡ณ and Pakistan ๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฐ have both been at war for a long time, for their foreign intelligence not to be well sharpened.

You watch too many film. NIA does not exist anymore , it used to exist during the miltary regime.

Nigeria cannot extradite someone from any country just like that. If i go to Iran , nepal or even china , do you really think them will deport me and hand me over to nigeria??

Nigeria cannot even get back simon ekpa , imagine finland giving excuses of him serving jail time there . Its not country thats like kenya
Simon Ekpa is your reason for thinking the NIA doesn't exist? What of Nnamdi Kanu?

Ekpa is in a European country and the government chose to follow the matter diplomatically.

Yes, DSS can go on foreign missions if it's incidental to a case, but their primary brief if domestic. Ordinary police sef do go on foreign missions. Doesn't stop the NIA from existing. When the NIA attempted to grab Hundeyin from Ghana a couple of years back, I bet you were somewhere thinking they don't exist.
Re: Countries And Their Foreign Intelligence Agencies by ehemwhy(m): 5:27pm On Jan 07
I remember reading about the hunt for Bin Laden, when Jordanian intelligence fed the CIA information about a supposed intermediary who could lead them to him.
A meeting was arranged at a U.S. military outpost. The individuals arrived as agreed and were allowed inside. Moments later, a bomb was detonated.
The CIA lost ten personnel that day.
The intelligence world is an extremely dangerous game.

National intelligence agency

It was formed in 1985 by the ibb admin when he split the National Security Organisation, which itself grew out of the Special branch / E department of the Police force into the DSS/SSS and the NIA.

Like the UK's MI6 it is very secretive. Only it's head is known. But it exists

Mnk capture in Kenya was orchestrated by the NIA.
And they cannot stop Fulanis from Chad, Niger and all other states from infiltrating the country

Plus our leaders wey dey stash funds abroad can't be tracked by them either

They are as useless as if they've never existed before

ISI does sponsor organisations that are fighting for Kashmiri independence, which also happen to be islamist.
That's just one part.... all islamic nations dreads Pakistan.... they also provide militias to fight for some Arab governments..... kashmir is very sensitive.... it's like saying Nigeria splits into north and south, then you say middlebelt is for the north... when they are not

What is meaning foreign intelligence agency?

And also, what is the role of foreign intelligence agency?

Lastly, is it another name for DSS?

Oga/senior man stop being ignorant by saying NIA doesn't exist anymore. My dad's younger brother works with NIA and late president buhari's nephew (Tunde Sabiu) is a senior NIA agent (officer).

No, it's different from DSS.
They literally seek for economic opportunities and security threats against the nation.
Re: Countries And Their Foreign Intelligence Agencies by Love800(m): 2:05pm On Jan 08
Okay, you mean they fight external forces, not mainly internal war?

Yea, external forces, but they don't go all out shooting on the street like those fighting internal forces.
Theyv mostly gather intelligence to give the government they represent, if they have to take out someone, it won't be an all out fight, it's mostly done illegally, like kidnapping, assassination, rendition, etc, as you can't arrest someone in a foreign land and charge the person to court there.
