Is Tunisia not a real test? A team that didn't lose and conceded just 1 goals throughout world cup qualifiers.

Adegoke rest abeg. We were in control of the game. Yes, Osimhen was right to call for more goals, but Lookman wasn't wrong to ask to take things easy as the shout on Bruno was disrespectful, but Osimhen was totally wrong to have reacted childishly the way he did.
Dis life ehn, nobody even look Bruno face or Captain Ndidi who fit don get injury for hand. On a serious note, I am with you 100% on this issue. It would only get worse except something happens (Newton's first law of motion) remember there was a rumor a younger version fought with Balogun during training.

We will win Algeria perhaps with a narrow margin

You are hitting your head against your own imagination.

A thing can happen where a man is reprimanded. However beyond a certain point, it starts looking like malicious attack. You beat a child with your right hand, you draw him close with your left hand.

Osimhen is our golden egg. Whether you guys like it or not. He's human. He erred. Not out of a selfish desire for self aggrandizement but due to his desire to win.

I saw many ungrateful, entitled Nigerians saying that what has he done sef. Gosshhhh I detest black people. That's why this race is one of the most backwardest race in the world. Stupid, ungrateful race. It never appreciates anything and that is why it never progresses because ingratitude is a stumbling block and the most ungrateful race is the black race.

Osimhen fa? Someone that was almost ready to die for us to qualify for the world cup. Look at that goal against Benin when he dipped his head right in front of the boot of the Beninoise defender. Do you know how many screws that young man has in his face? Yet today, just because of an on-field outburst, Nigerians say he's done nothing.

See them, people who are being raped by politicians daily and they offer no single resistance forming self righteous prudes condemning another man who is striving to bring honor to the country.

What he did is bad. Our condemnation must be measured and marked by grace rather than this rashness I see you spewing.
Well spoken. And I refer to every word, sentence and paragraph in its entirety. Both for the knock on Osimhen for his moment of overzealousness and for the acknowledgement of a truth that will never die: Osimhen bleeds blood everytime he dorns the Super Eagles jersey. The guy brings the fire when others slack. We all know this.

So it is a well balanced retort.

Like you rightly say. The black race and in this case, Nigerians especially suffer a special case of amnesia laced with big doses of entitled ingratitude.

Again, Well Spoken My Learned One.

Benin and Tunisia were real tests—even Tanzania to an extent. Yet many people still don’t believe in Eric Chelle or the Super Eagles, mainly because of the failure to qualify for the World Cup.
This team has already made up its mind to make Nigerians smile again, and that’s why we’re seeing the best of their football. It’s been a long time since we saw almost 80% of the squad firing on all cylinders at the same time.
Let’s give them the benefit of the doubt, guys.
Nigeria is beating Algeria.

All those saying we haven't faced real test in this AFCON don't know what they are talking about. No team in our group was a minnow

But I still feel Algeria will edge it 2:1 because of the many distractions they had to deal with - from the squabble on the pitch to NFF's payment delay

My only pain was osimhen asking to leave the pitch, I never expected it, I see him as a leader who can never allow anything get in the way of the goal, I think that’s my disappointment, I am still very disappointed in him.. I hope he does better next time.

But let’s be clear, osimhen is a Nigerian hero, enough of this drama, this is not politics where you guys show bitterness, and toxicity, don’t disrespect that boy, he has learnt, enough of the plenty talk, can’t you people move on, so if your child or spouse or sibling offend you, is it not to correct and move on, if osimhen does this a 109 time, we will correct him 109 times, we will never throw him away, he has done enough to earn it.

Respect the Hero.

Same as the rest like iwobi, criticize them but don’t get toxic…

Even if we win Afcon they will continue to condemn him, Delaw you don’t know Nigerians enough! The great keshi with all he did was condemned like a criminal!

A harmless post. A post simply corroborating what another said. Why is that hidden please? Please, I would kindly request my post restored as it breaks no rule. Thank you.

Tunisia conceeded Zero goals during the WCQs. Only them and CIV achieved such.

Osimhen should retire after this tournament, whether we win or not, whether he breaks Yekini's record or not. The both are useless to me at this point abeg.

Everywhere go good.

Our big leap in playing quality actually conceals the abilities of our opponents in this AFCON,hence the widespread of opinion that we never met. real test.

If Mozambique had played any other team they wouldn't have lost in such manner. That's for sure.

im not saying Tunisia were that poor to b called a test sha…..until we meet and beat Algeria…they will still pose as a potential stronger test than Tunisia….Mozambique can flog Ghana and Nigeria flogs Mozambique, but if Ghana escapes to the knockout stage to face us they suddenly and automatically become a litmus test for us that we are yet to face…thats it
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 11:54pm On Jan 07
You have no sound logical argument. That is the whole point.

I gave you the best analogy. We beat Tunisia. But because they drew Tanzania next, they were no longer a test. According to you.

2023 Afcon, we beat CIV, so since they lost 4-0 in their very next game, it means they were also not a test then. Same CIV that went on to win the Afcon albeit on home soil after getting lucky with the 3rd place finish to escape early elimination.

This is why what you say is funny and illogical.
