FBNquest, I dashed them 12,000 naira already. I won't top up or withdraw. You better find a better fund manager.
I think you should follow reviews here before u invest in any MMF to avoid stories that touches the brain

So Sorry

Hmmm,

I've entered FBNquest trap o. Is this the way they behave?

I placed a redemption on the 24th and after a while noticed the money didn't drop. Wrote them a mail and they promised to resolve. They came back and said my bank account is not accepting credit(which is true upon contacting SCB) they ask me to fill a bank update form and share. Did that immediately last week and till now nothing. Mailed them everyday until they responded today.

They said due to ongoing dividends distribution they cant update my bank account. I should retry before the end of the first quarter. This money has been removed my mmf o. So i have money in limbo that is not warning anything. This is my first time withdrawing with them.

Na so the thing they be?

I think you should follow reviews here before u invest in any MMF to avoid stories that touches the brain

So Sorry also

I did later; I was just a newbie then tossing around MMF. Eventually I gained some experience, and I know where to invest my money.

Good morning house, is gt mmf good to invest with? Please advise

Iamblessed88:
Does the MMF also pay dividends apart from the accrued interest?
Normally, some fund managers use the term dividend when they are paying out your accrued interest or reinvesting it. It doesn't mean a different earnings it's the same accrued interest.

It used to be one of the best when it was under investment one but right now in terms of customer service, I will give 3 out of 10. I wouldn't know if they have improved now.

Why not pick from the ones I listed on page 420 of this thread? It's also a good practice to have more than one and then lean towards the one that gives you joy.
Re: Mutual Funds by Oyibopepe2000: 9:19am On Jan 08

Re: Mutual Funds by Nobody: 11:38am On Jan 08
Yes, first move the funds to your wallet and then from your wallet to your bank account.

Re: Mutual Funds by Nobody: 11:41am On Jan 08
I'm not really sure about that, but based on findings and research, they are doing well. You can go ahead, but try and invest a little first to understand the market.

Re: Mutual Funds by Nobody: 12:11pm On Jan 08
I think you need to leave a minimum balance of 2k in the account.

You have to select reinvest at the beginning. Mine was reinvested and my top ups are usually updated the next working day. And I'm able to do all that on my FCMB app. I do the dividend withdrawal or top ups on the FCMB app easily... Inside the " Investments" option - "Mutual Fund".... The proceed to do your thing....
Kabawhat:

Personally, I don't use Cowrywise. I deal with the fund managers directly on their platforms/apps first as a customer and then as a Rep.

Please which one is better for MMF between First Ally and Norrenberger considering rate and easy use of access app?
Re: Mutual Funds by Donbrig: 6:39pm On Jan 08
CBN increased treasury bill rates yesterday, but Stanbi ibtc is reducing their rates, 15.49% at the moment, I have always thought treasury bill is the main underlying asset for mutual fund.

Download the Stanbic Bank app 3.0, which is the new app, and you will see the BluNest module, which replaced the mutual funds module. Use the same login details, and you will be fine.

If you have not been paid interest into your registered bank account, it means you opted for interest reinvestment. Otherwise, check your bank statement; your interest would have been paid, or call the customer care to complain if you can't see your interest added to your capital at the end of each month in the past two quarters.
Good evening boss, please I have an issue that I have been trying to understand but no way.
I made a deposit to my Stanbic IBTC mutual funds account today and upon reception, I noticed the amount wasn’t added to my balance under “my wealth” what I noticed was that the amount wasn’t added splitted into two as “available cash” and “cash for investments“.

Note, my intention was to invest the whole amount in Stanbic IBTC Imaam fund but I’m only seeing the one under available cash in my wallet if I want to invest. How do I go about it please. I want to have access to everything so I can also invest any amount I wish to. Attached is the screenshot of how it appears on my dashboard.
Pls I need ur help on this. Thank you
