JuanDeDios: Exactly what the guy is saying that RAW and ISI are also good apart from those you listed above, India ๐ฎ๐ณ and Pakistan ๐ต๐ฐ have both been at war for a long time, for their foreign intelligence not to be well sharpened. |

| Re: Countries And Their Foreign Intelligence Agencies by JuanDeDios: 5:17pm On Jan 07 |
Kaczynski:Simon Ekpa is your reason for thinking the NIA doesn't exist? What of Nnamdi Kanu? Ekpa is in a European country and the government chose to follow the matter diplomatically. Yes, DSS can go on foreign missions if it's incidental to a case, but their primary brief if domestic. Ordinary police sef do go on foreign missions. Doesn't stop the NIA from existing. When the NIA attempted to grab Hundeyin from Ghana a couple of years back, I bet you were somewhere thinking they don't exist. |

I remember reading about the hunt for Bin Laden, when Jordanian intelligence fed the CIA information about a supposed intermediary who could lead them to him. A meeting was arranged at a U.S. military outpost. The individuals arrived as agreed and were allowed inside. Moments later, a bomb was detonated. The CIA lost ten personnel that day. The intelligence world is an extremely dangerous game. |

Love800:No, it's different from DSS. They literally seek for economic opportunities and security threats against the nation. |
| Re: Countries And Their Foreign Intelligence Agencies by Love800(m): 2:05pm On Jan 08 |
Okay, you mean they fight external forces, not mainly internal war? OlujobaSamuel: |
| Re: Countries And Their Foreign Intelligence Agencies by OlujobaSamuel: 2:11pm On Jan 08 |
Love800:Yea, external forces, but they don't go all out shooting on the street like those fighting internal forces. Theyv mostly gather intelligence to give the government they represent, if they have to take out someone, it won't be an all out fight, it's mostly done illegally, like kidnapping, assassination, rendition, etc, as you can't arrest someone in a foreign land and charge the person to court there. |
