Mujtahida:
He does not owe anyone any effing PUBLIC apology. If he offers it, fine. What is material is for him to apologize to his team and the coach and the news is that he's done so. Ademola did not make such a demand. He took it in his stride.

This demand for apology is just another sleek way to pile on Victor, to bring him down, to "humble him".

You accept big time fuckery from our politicians who stick it up our asses, yet you offer nothing even as much as a whimper.

Enough on Osimhen!
There’s a reason why Nigeria is universally Known as a Sh!t Hole because we have Sh!t Hole mentality. A player publicly disrespected his Country and Teammates hold no one Apology because things didn’t go his way. The same standards must be kept for everyone because I will personally Pounce on anyone that calls Nwabali rude here again for Shouting. As a matter of Fact, every super eagles player has the Right to display petulance if things go their way and anyone that says otherwise will personally Collect. As for Politicians, everyone universally know that our Politicians are Sh!t hole and only Sh!t Hole people will accept their politicians.

Player of the Tournament battle
Whoever is drawing this up should keep Amad Diallo in mind. That lad has 3 MOTMs and CIV looks dangerous with him and Yan Diomande on the wings. Add speedy Bazoumana Toure off the bench too but we will see how they handle Salah's Egypt.

Egypt Coach Hossam Hassan and CIV Coach Emerse Fae both faced off as players at the 2006 AFCON Final. Egypt won 4-2 on penalties after 0-0.

In 2008, Fae faced Egypt again but no Hossam Hassan. Egypt thrashed CIV 4-1 in the semis.

Let us see what their 2025 Giants Clash brings...

This is not patriotism, this is eye service, and sabotage. Like I said under this post on Twitter, this guy is setting a bad precedent.

This is the type of puppets the NFF admire, and for that reason he has bought himself a permanent place in the national team.

I don't like this one bit.

Mikel did something similar prior to the Olympics in 2008 coughing up 30k+ pounds or so to help clear hotel, food and flight debts or so.

I really dont like this. Ndidi means well but this should not happen. The NSC and NFF should release the funds CAF has disbursed already naa. E bloody hard?? Also, while CAF caters for appearance bonuses per game depending on how far a team goes, the NFF ought to have a winning bonus budget already set aside for the lads. This is beyond embarassing. Must the devils of the glasshouse try so hard everytime to sabotage our lads everytime they are on a good run? This is diabolical.

If NFF uses their incompetence to lose Chelle to another African giant or even a club side then we'll watch how they intend to convince another person. This is what some of us were complaining about pre AFCON. Incompetence

Abegi Goke, not only Osimhen as regarding this tournament, why are you playing down others contributions, must other players have character like Osimhen before you know they're working for the team...

Bassey is doing great,Iwobi extremely doing well, Onyeka always works his socks off,Ndidi all over doing the tackling,Akor supportive,Bruno and Osayi are doing well, Nwabali stability and Lookman our best player so far....not to talk of Onyedika that put up one the best performance by any of our midfielders in Afcon

How could you be telling us it's only Osimhen that is reminding us how our football was in the past.

Yes Osimhen remain his usual self right from under 17,a warrior on the field.
baba no dey stress yourself too much…all those ones are not super eagles fans🤣🤣

Regarding Osimhen and Lookman's saga

Lookman's behaviour towards Osimhen is like administering Paracetamol (an analgesic) as a cure for Malaria.

Lookman should have joined in the cautioning of Bruno and the entire team, instead of providing a dissent making it look like Osimhen doesn't know what he is saying.

Lookman did not attack the real problem. This made Osimhen more upset.

Osimhen's emphasis was on teamplay. Lookman's was leaning towards glory hunting.
The number of goals Osimhen has scored should not banish teamplay.

Lookman's words lacked compassion and real comfort.
He is more deserving of the stick.

I believe that every professional should be educated in the principles of conflict resolution, so that they can settle conflicts without exacerbating it.

This is now Jazz. Lookman should had assisted osimhnen to publicly berate a Grown man (Bruno) because he tried to score in a game that Nigeria is winning 3-0 and Lookman should had done that publicly?? I am arguing with Low IQ people or People has been jazzed. Any ways, the standards has been set for everyone disrespect your teammates when things doesn’t go your way and anyone that says otherwise will personally be pounced here by Me

This is absolutely pathetic. Ndidi's generosity speaks to his character, but this gesture perfectly encapsulates everything wrong with our football administration. Why should a player fund bonuses that the NFF is contractually obligated to pay? This sets a disastrous precedent. Now the NFF knows they can simply abdicate responsibility and wait for players to bail them out. As usual our players don't solve the problem, instead they enable it. This is exactly the kind of shortsighted, emotional response that ensures nothing changes. Aren't there people in that camp who can properly advise and/or prevent these players from taking these disastrous decisions? First they boycott training and refuse to travel before a do or die game, and now this? Is everyone there with the squad in Morocco this thick in the head? We are absolutely finished.

I have a little confession to make. I am not given to superstitions at all. But when it comes to crucial tournament games, I tend to start believing in prophecies (I still reason things out sha oo), animal and human predictors.

And of course, it's the predictions that favors us that I accept. Confirmation bias abi

As if Osihmen's case which is yet to cool off not enough,NFF comes with theirs.

Yes it's a shit hole. You are demanding public apology. I say he does not owe you any such apology.

Lookman did not demand such an apology. Who you?

He has apologized to his teammates and the coaching crew. That covers for everything. If he decides, willingly to offer public apology, that is fine. My point is that you, I mean you cannot demand for it.

You are complaining about team work and you already have two goals,so what's team work.
After the match against Uganda, Osimhen was asked if he was concerned about not scoring. He said his concern is for the team to win. The guy is a total team player through and through.

Against Mozambique, while others were seeing 3-0, Osimhen was seeing 10-0.

And then you must factor in how quickly things change in football. We were here when Sierra Leone came back from a four goal lead against us.

He will definitely surpass that record..
The way I see Iwobi, he still has a few more years to play at the top level and will still keep getting invites to the SE... He is currently on 94 caps... By the end of this year, he should be on 100, if the NFF can organise friendlies for us in March and during pre world cup friendlies, that's if FIFA verdict on the DRC issue doesn't go our way .

Another thing I like about Iwobi is his fitness level... Maybe due to his style of play, he is hardly injured

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by forgiveness:
Meliforme:
1. Osimhen was emphasizing teamwork, Lookman was like "You have scored two, allow others hunt for their own glory."
Victor was insinuating that the person in a better position should be the person to shoot. Again, the main striker's primary role is to shoot at goal. In a team every component has a main role. If Osimhen who is the target man finds himself in a position to shoot, and demands for the ball, he should be given the ball. Football is a team sports.

2. The best way to calm a person that is hurting is to address whatever it is, that is causing his pain, not to question or dismiss his reasons for feeling pain. Ademola should have tried to understand Osimhen's grouse and address it before confronting him to calm down. That Osimhen is already on two goals is not a good reason to jettison team play. Is Lookman supporting chaos?

3. Should we throw teamplay out of the window because it is the 63rd minute and Osimhen is on two goals.
I think you should reexamine the situation and consider thoroughly your stand.

4. Lookman's words lacked compassion. It lacked empathy because it did not attend to Osimhen's hurt feelings. Was there any substance in Osimhen's complaint? Why should it be dismissed under reason that the he is already on two goals. The focal point is teamwork not individual performance.

Lookman should have condemned Bruno's act expressing his sympathy and solidarity with the team not insinuating that Osimhen should not have complained since he is already on two goals. How does that make sense? Football is teamwork pass the ball when you are supposed to.

I don't normally tell a hurting person to calm down first of all. Instead i try to discern the source of his hurt and then exploit ways to address the cause of the upset, afterwards, that is when "calm down" will work.
How can you claim Osimhen is the target man in an obvious 4-3-1-2 formation? What is Akor role in this formation?
