Alaska90:Go for the two to enjoy both worlds. First Ally app is tilted towards Gen zee. I use web portal with Norrenberger but the rate is great. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Creditalerts: 8:48pm On Jan 08 |
Alaska90:Rate is Norrenberger but for swift withdrawal and daily accrued interest top up I give it to FirstAlly but both are good |

CardinalStone is doing well for now; despite the market being sluggish this week, I'm still making gains. Nevertheless, the decision is in your hand. Rico1278: |

Donbrig:it's called money market fund sir. Not Treasury bill mutual fund. A lot happens In the money market that you don't know or see. All you see is the daily returns. Tbills raise for one month doesn't mean anything to MMF rate if the increment isn't constant for atleast one quarter. MMF Fund managers usually still have TBILL bought at old rate price, how will they suddenly dump all that to quick buy into this new rate to enable you begin to earn higher returns so fast? |

| Re: Mutual Funds by IamtheDef: 8:49am On Jan 09 |
Good morning wonderful people, please can anyone confirm the max withdrawal limit for Stanbic. i always assumed the web portal allowed 5million and 1million for the app. i tried withdrawing and was unable to do above 1million on the web portal. Do i have to visit a physical branch to use the withdrawal form? |
| Re: Mutual Funds by emmasoft(m): 8:59am On Jan 09 |
IamtheDef:You can increase the limit to 5m. If you want more than that, request for redemption form, complete and send back to them. You don't need to be in the physical office for anything except if it's the most convenient for you. |

temi4fash:It will be upgraded, just upload all the necessary kyc documents. It will be done or you can reach out to me so that I can get some details to enable the team check up at the backend. Thank you for the patronage. It's appreciated and not taken for granted. |

EquityM:Stanbic just dull my steeze. Dropped the ball on strategic buys. I would have consolidated my profit position madly if they just did their jobs. I am real mad right now, I should be able to sue stanbic brokers for something like this ![]() |
| Re: Mutual Funds by Nobody: 7:22pm On Jan 09 |
As a newbie, I prefer equity, as trading stocks personally is challenging. You should have another broker as a backup. Harddiskng:

emmasoft:Please how do I get daily secondary market FGN bond rates. |
| Re: Mutual Funds by emmasoft(m): 8:32pm On Jan 09 |
ogawisdom:You can get information from your stockbroking firm, FMDQ, DMO, etc, or even your bank. I don't actually follow Bonds, not my way. I prefer fixed fixed-income fund instead. |

EquityM:If you want to enjoy stock investment as a beginner, start with a long-term view, you can take profit once in a while when you make serious gains. Investing in stocks is more of a long-term approach, trading is a short-term approach, and you require more than guesswork or others' predictions; you will need to give it the time it takes, otherwise it will look like gambling. For investors, most of them buy for dividends and use the Naira cost average to get their target quantities of a particular stock they believe has the fundamentals that support their status. An equity fund is good, but for me, investing in individual, good, fundamentally sound, and dividend-paying stocks is better - three ways to benefit from stock investing: capital appreciation, dividend, and bonus If you buy good stocks, at the worst you will have one of the benefits on the other hand, on a very good year you can have the three benefits for example Vitafoam. Already at 90+ from 70+ last year, proposing a dividend of N3 and a bonus of 1:5 for the year ended 30th Sept. 2025 You can open a stock account with Investment One by clicking the third link in my signature. |

| Re: Mutual Funds by Danyl(m): 10:59pm On Jan 09 |
I just applied for FBN Quest and senf in some funds to put something on the MMF going for 4 days and I kept receiving the same canned message from FBN quest: Compliments of the season! This is to acknowledge your email and evidence of payment. Please be informed that your funds will be booked accordingly upon confirmation. Thank you for choosing First Asset Management Kind Regards, Please has anyone experienced tbis before? I paid into the CITI Bank account but this canned message is making it look like scam already. |
