THUNDER FIRE AGREEMENT

Below 👇 is the 20 points agreement issued by Nyesom Wike and his puppies at the Rivers State House of Assembly leading to the latest thre*t of impeachment.

These class of evil souls feels they own Rivers State and can do whatever they please to do.

Can Hon Martins Amaewhule agree to such modern day slavery called agreement? Maybe he can but let them all be informed that His Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara will not keep to such w!ckedness against Rivers people called agreement.

We are not a conquered State, as such, we will stand with His Excellency to protect our future and the future of our children.

Impeachment will never work!!!

Tinubu will resolve the issue, Wike will not be sacked has several groups are calling for his sacking. Tinubu don’t betray his loyalists unless if they fall out of the fold by themselves.

All issues will be resolved.
.. Tinubu might declare another state of emergency..the only way it can be settled if Tinubu tells fubara not go for second term and fubara agrees... for that is what is causing the problems now

I've always stated that Tinubu is not in the best position to resolve this lingering crisis. The destiny of Rivers state is in the hands of the Rivers state people. Where are their elders? Are there no influential people in that state that can call these two men to order? WTF? 🤥🤥
Lol, call Wike to order! It seems you people do not know who Wike is. Guy that'd call a meeting of First class traditional rulers and insult them. Is that the kind of person that anyone can call to other?

Wike has no regard for anyone.

Who noticed that agbadorians are no longer insulting Fubara like they did in the first fracas? Simply because he is now standing on Tinubu's flaccid mandate.
This fight now is between APC and Nyesom wike. Let's see how Tinubu plays this one

Jonathan the weakling asked his Ministers to resign if they wanted to contest in the next elections and join politics.

Tinubu the strongman cannot reign in his Ministers to resign if they want to face politics.

Life is wonderful. None of Obasanjo's Ministers dare play politics when he was the Boss. You don't need to go far to know who gives Wike the relevance. A president who is more interested in politics than governance.

Newsdesk
President Goodluck Jonathan officially instructed his ministers with political ambitions for the 2015 general elections to resign on October 15, 2014.
During a Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting on that date, he directed those planning to contest for elective offices to submit their resignation letters by October 20, 2014.

Key details regarding this event include:

The Valedictory Session: A valedictory session was held on October 15 for seven ministers who had indicated they would be leaving to pursue governorship bids.

The Ministers Involved: The seven ministers who resigned following this directive included Nyesom Wike (Education), Musiliu Obanikoro (Defence), Labaran Maku (Information), Samuel Ortom (Trade), Emeka Wogu (Labour), Onyebuchi Chukwu (Health), and Darius Ishaku (Niger Delta).

Reason for Resignation: The directive was issued to ensure that government officials did not use state resources or machinery to fund or influence their personal political campaigns for the upcoming 2015 elections.

Earlier in the same year, on February 12, 2014, President Jonathan had also accepted the resignations of four other ministers, some of whom were reportedly leaving to further their own political interests.

PRESS STATEMENT BY THE IJAW NATIONAL CONGRESS (INC) ON THE DEEPENING POLITICAL CRISIS AND IMPEACHMENT THREAT IN RIVERS STATE

January 9, 2026 | Yenagoa, Nigeria

1. The Ijaw National Congress (INC), the apex socio-cultural organization of the Ijaw nation worldwide, issues this urgent statement in response to the resumption of impeachment proceedings by the Rivers State House of Assembly against the democratically elected Governor, His Excellency Sir Siminalayi Fubara, and his Deputy, Professor Ngozi Odu.

2. The INC categorically and unequivocally condemns this impeachment move as a grave threat to democracy, peace, and stability in Rivers State and the Niger Delta region. This is the third such attempt since 2023, revealing a relentless cycle of political vendetta that must be broken.
We stand firmly with the people of Rivers State and all defenders of constitutional order in rejecting this dangerous gambit.

3. The INC frames this crisis not merely as an Ijaw issue, but as a fundamental test for and threat to Nigeria's democracy. This is "not a matter of the Ijaw nation but of democracy". The allegations presented by the Assembly, including matters of budgetary spending and gubernatorial appointments, are governance issues that can and must be resolved within the framework of law and due process, not through the weaponization of impeachment.
This impeachment threat, no doubt, follows the collapse of a peace deal brokered by President Bola Tinubu in June 2025, aimed at resolving the feud between Governor Fubara and the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike.

4. The Assembly's notice cites Section 188 of the 1999 Constitution. However, the speed and context of this process raise questions about its adherence to the spirit of fairness and its use as a political tool rather than a genuine check on executive power.

5. The INC's stance is also echoed by persons across the political spectrum, including within the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, who have also called for the impeachment to be dropped.

6. The Ijaw National Congress respectfully and urgently calls upon the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to act decisively as the father of the nation, and that:

i. To Uphold Constitutional Democracy, we implore Mr. President to use his moral authority and office to defend the constitutional order in Rivers State. The repeated impeachment threats against a sitting governor, following your personal intervention, undermine the stability you seek to foster.

ii. To Ensure Absolute Neutrality and Fairness, we reiterate the call made by Niger Delta leaders for your administration to handle this crisis without bias or favoritism. The peace and economic stability of the Niger Delta, a region critical to the national economy, hinge on the federal government being perceived as an honest broker.

iii. To Curb All Agents of Instability, we call on Mr. President, to rein in all individuals, including those within his government, whose actions and pronouncements fuel this crisis and threaten to throw Rivers State into anarchy. The crisis has been marked by provocative statements and actions that must be curtailed.

iv. To Safeguard Federal Allocations to Rivers State, we view any attempt to leverage federal institutions to withhold statutory allocations to Rivers State as unconstitutional and profoundly provocative. Such an action would be an economic sanction against the people of Rivers State and the Ijaw nation, with dire consequences for national unity.

7. In this tense period, the INC urges and strongly advises all Ijaw people and residents of Rivers State to remain peaceful, law-abiding, and resolute. Do not be provoked into any action that could lead to violence or the destruction of property, but:
Stand for the Democratic Principles by channeling your energies into peaceful civic engagement. Support lawful advocacy and defend democratic institutions. The legitimate development projects initiated by the state government must not be sacrificed on the altar of politics. We encourage all stakeholders to return to the path of genuine dialogue. The previous suspensions and state of emergency have not yielded lasting peace. Only an inclusive, good-faith dialogue can secure a sustainable future for the state.
Support Constitutional Governance: This is a time to demand governance, not perpetual political warfare. We urge the Rivers State House of Assembly to focus on its core legislative and oversight duties, allowing the executive to serve the people who elected them.

8. This Press release equally serves as yet another important wake-up Call on ljaws all over the world to defend our Brotherhood in Rivers State and elsewhere in similar circumstances. Ijaws and other ethnic nationalities and lovers of democracy globally must rise to the occasion now in defence of the Right of the PEOPLE, to good governance, orderliness and peaceful coexistence.

9. We totally align with the earlier position taken by the Eastern Zone’s Ijaw National Congress and the ljaw Youth Council on the need for all concerned to de-escalate the on-going crisis in Rivers State and that NO OTHER IJAW GROUP, including the River People's Congress can speak for and/or be engaged on behalf of the ljaw Nation. Therefore, all the utterances made by any other group concerning the ljaw unwavering support for Governor SIM should be disregarded by the general public as misleading and not representing the IJAW POSITION.

10. The INC does passionately appeal and advise both the Executive and the Legistative arms of government in Rivers State to work together amicably and peacefully in the overall interest of the Masses in the State, who are, indeed entitled to peace and development, and not self-destruction or anarchy

11. The Ijaw National Congress remains committed to the unity, peace, and progress of Nigeria. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and will take all legitimate and constitutional steps necessary to ensure that the rights of the Ijaw people and all citizens of Rivers State are protected, and that democracy prevails over impunity.

Signed;

Professor Benjamin O. Okaba
President, Ijaw National Congress (INC) Global

This is why I don't believe Tinubu has as much political acumen as his supporters say he does. Under Obasanjo, can anyone try what Wike is doing now? Obasanjo knew how to weld political power and had all the governors whipped in line. There was no minister in his cabinet that wasn't in fear of him. Even Chief Tony Anenih who was a titan in his own right, allowed Obasanjo's word to be law in the party.

Tinubu just wants to be in power but he simply doesn't know how to weild it.
Obasanjo knows how to weild power my ass. Same Obj that went to every village in yoruba land begging them to support his second term bid. Only someone like Obj will be welding power anyhow without thinking about the repercussions and that's why today, apart from among the ibo-rillaz, he's no longer relevant in Nigeria. Someone that was invited to a former Governor's birthday but messed himself up. No one respect him as a leader in his region and he can't even win any polling unit in the SW for any opposition candidate. Despite all the tantrums threw at Asiwaju by ElRufai, Aregbe, Amaechi can you tell us what was his personal response? Nothing because silence is golden.
Every fool knows your intentions are to see Tinubu in a roforofo fight with Wike like kindergarten kids but you chose the wrong guy. Remember how Tinubu silenced Makinde through Fayose. When the president is ready to deal with Wike, he won't know what hits him.

Don't mind them. Always making rubbish analysis without context. Fubara has no weight in Rivers politics and is utterly clueless. Being a handpicked governor doesn't change that.

The only "Gross Misconduct" Fubara committed was refusing to be a remote-controlled Governor. Since he decided to serve Rivers people instead of serving one man's ego, you people have lost your sleep.

My Advice to Amaewhule and co: Pack your bags. You people are already political "expired drugs." The streets of Port Harcourt are with Sim. If you try any nonsense, the "simplified" heat will be too much for you.

One of Wike’s agreements with Fubara was that he should never decamp to the APC.

Fubara decamped to the APC with the help of Hope Uzondima, Ribadu, David Umahi & Co without consulting Wike. Wike did all he could to block the Governor but could not.

Now that Fubara has decamped without Wike’s knowledge, Wike has activated the State House of Assembly to impeach the Governor calling the bluff of Mr President and APC leaders.

Will Tinubu be the coward by sacrificing the state Governor for Wike kleptocratic disposition because of his 2027 re-election bid?

Being in bed with Wike Politically is like going to an herbalist to do money ritual. If the gods do not ask for a virgin for ritual today to sustain the riches, it will most definitely ask for the soul of your most loved one tomorrow. It is either your make the sacrifices or lose the riches.

Will Tinubu be willing to make the sacrifices or lose Wike, time will most definitely tell.
Don't worry APC is still in charge. When Wike tried to stop it and couldn't he sent forerunners. The speaker and 15 others are members of APC. Leave Wike with politics. He is positioned to beat and 🫑🌶️ you people again.

On his knees again. Lol. The fear of impeachment.

Accompanied by a wanted felon (Edison Ehie) who bombed Assembly building. Same person he was told should not be part of the government in the agreement. Unrepentant ingrate.

Fubara has started his shameless drama again. What is he doing outside the country, if true? Very incompetent fellow, while his clueless supporters are suffering from bad governance. He must defend this impeachment. Busy jumping around afraid of his shadow. I thought his spirit has left Government House?
