Iwobi who plays from deep will have three Algerian players on him? Leaving alot of space behind, when there's an Adam's, lookman and osihmen who's willing to take advantage of those spaces?

Just stop. This is not about pitting Osimhen vs Lookman and we have nothing to check. Osimhen is the numero uno Striker. The biggest Gun of this team and the team needs his world class quality. He will start the next game in the Quarters so let us not tempt childish and silly decisions to "see something".

Osimhen's grouse was never with Lookman in the first place. It was with Bruno Onyemaechi who actually should have passed to a very free Osimhen. I am rewatching the game and around min 61-63, Bruno's best pass option was Victor to Bruno's right. It was diabolical what Bruno did and Vic is right to call him out for that.

Now where Vic was wrong and probably went overboard was walking up to Lookman (who told him to calm down when he lashed out verbally at Bruno) to communicate his point saying "it's a team game" as if he was picking an issue with him.

So please... Osimhen has no issues with Lookman. Lookman always looked for Osimhen in the Mozambique game. It is Bruno that Osimhen was really mad at and if you are rewatching the game like I am now, you will see it and slam Bruno as well.

All said and done... All is resolved. We move on.

Pass the ball even if you’re clear on goal to the player with the best angle to score
Is this too much to ask
If we don’t play as a team Algeria will bid us fare well
South Africa paid the price for wasting too many chances
Algeria play like Europeans

In the last Afcon 2023 we won’t have beaten Cameroun if Osimhen was selfish
Lookman usually prefers to shoot and only passes if he’s not clear on goal
Don’t know why people are lying or ignoring facts
Although Lookman’s solo effort won the Tanzania game but if they choose to plsy like individuals that want to win MOTM good luck to Nigeria

Aura for Aura, transfer season of referees in Afcon grin Egypt has now formally requested that Moroccan referee Jalal Jayed be changed for their match vs Ivory Coast

https://x.com/AlgerianFooty/status/2009581954656849921?s=20[/quote]CAF aren't serious...
It doesn't make sense to select referees that happen to come from the region of any of the countries involved in the game..

Take your eyes off any quality or even sub-quality player born in Italy, especially if he is an offspring of immigrants who went to Italy illegally. Those are big assets for their parents to somehow get permanent residency after being capped by Italy.

Ahanor, Ekhator and co are not options for Nigeria. Their parents won't even dare let them reason Nigeria.
If we miss that Ahanor, it will be painful because that position is still crying for a competent LB.

Cutting of supply from Iwobi by Man Marking him is Algeria committing suicide. The Algerian coach is too smart to make that silly mistake.
