What those girls did that day is incredible. Their mentality was cold as steel.

I doubt if our guys have that kind of mental fortitude. See how they were panicking the day we played Congo.
The mentality on display that day ehn

They made me eat my words.

It is over for Cameroon. I thought 🤔 the ref should have checked VAR for penalty for Cameroon. He never bother lol 😂

He wont be regretting it so long as his all time Camerounian scoring record is safe.

Danielnino00:
Eto'o low-key might be regretting his decision to drop Aboubakar from the squad...

That’s where experience comes in. I hope our experienced players carries the team. Ndidi, chuks. Simon and Iwobi are key now at this stage.

This referee is crazy. He quickly gave this clear foul against Cameroon as usual

Omo, what manner of fuckery is this officiating? This is a complete eyesore.

Feel very bad for Cameroon.

VAR blind to see foul and penalties, abi?
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by 9JAMac10: 9:44pm On Jan 09
The refereeing isn't great ok but Cameroon is so technically poor they're harmless
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Dannyxy(m): 9:44pm On Jan 09
Wait how was that not a free kick for Cameroon?

Bad officiating ruin good games, it makes team second guess their play.

Anybody looking at Moroccan tactics, this is the best time to access Moroccos defense cos they’re now sitting back.

This has nothing to do with the crowd.
It has everything to do with the crowd. Do you see the pace of the game, don't you see how pumped up the Moroccans are? It's crowd energy flowing through their veins

See better elbowing inside penalty box but VAR went to sleep.

That's the third clear elbow foul from Morocco, and the calls have all gone to Morocco .

Arthur Okonkwo with the baddest saves I've ever seen.

Wrexham 2-0 Nottingham Forest grin

I have. But beyond that I also notice Morocco could not score against Cameroon from open play. Both goals have been from setpieces. A FK and a Corner. If Cameroon defended setpieces well enough, this game would still be goalless.

Remember DRC also beat them via a setpiece during the African playoffs. Setpiece is Cameroon's bane.

I don't like Cameroon but they were screwed over here by some dodgy officiating (something we should prepare for tomorrow). But Cameroon haven't played smart so they played into the antics of Morocco, unfortunately.

See Ehn when the ref is against you, you can’t even play.

Let’s give the host the cup, this is rubbish…

Blame Cameroon all you want but this bad calls are affecting the flow of the game mehn.

And that’s what Segun Odegbami is also saying here about playing with confidence and with no fear!

i really wish it was Morocco we are facing…walai i prefer this Morocco…even with ref ojoro…i never see wetin you go do to stop a beast Osimhen/Akor and tricky Lookman/Chukwueze from penetrating this defense…there is no way Iwobi wont see space to puncture their defense with passes

I was surprised when the guys on the hindsight podcast mentioned it in their latest edition that our players were fearful in that match against Congo.

That day, it was that fear that I saw in our players eyes that made me give up.

FA Cup Action. Damn. Thanks for this notification. Had to check the xGOT and I can see it is from a freekick. I will switch to that game soonest.

Most of the calls are not genuine fouls.

Did anyone just witnessed how the Maroc free kick taker placed the ball far from the ref marked spot? Then removed the ref's sprayfoam to his desired spot.

O'boy grin

So this is our potential opponent if we manage to beat Algeria?
Then we have to be super aggressive against Algeria
