I watched Arthur Okonkwo live during pre season and I was not impressed, against Nottingham yesterday cuz of him I needed to switch to his game watching Cameroon Morocco, not really convincing but saw slightly improved Okonkwo, though better than Okoye when he first got his national team call,I will rate him 7/10 he saved two penalties, now Okoye has improved beyond doubt and highly rated...I think he will come good with time....having Nwabali,Okoye,Okonkwo and Uzoho is good for the team

That barry na Otu keeper

He was lucky to play for a good team
Yes very poor keeper

I think you are looking at it as a grave context, like wanting the team to fail.

Not in that light. I am talking about sabotaging play. Not sabotaging the team.

I used the Iceland game to highlight my point. Iheanacho was in position to score. Ahmed Musa, instead of giving the ball to Iheanacho, he chose to dribble the keeper and score a wonder goal. I for one critiqued it. Ahmed Musa did not sabotage the team but he sabotaged the play.
Sabotaging play is sabotaging the team...stop twisting things, we're not here for debate

Our team has talent but I don't know if they have character, resilience, spirit and determination.

Mahrez is hopeful of another free kick.

We should avoid a foul in our half by all means.

the free kick will be useless if they are trailing by 3 goals in the 80th minute.

Good analysis.

Okonkwo isn't there yet but he is on the right path and it will be nice to bring him in now to understudy the likes of Nwabali, Okoye and maybe Uzoho too. Amas Obasogie isn't at the level of these people.

Besides Okonkwo, another young boy I have high hopes on is Chibuzọ Oluwayemi who came through the youth system of Tottenham. I wasn't impressed with his move to Australia though.

I have a little confession to make. I am not given to superstitions at all. But when it comes to crucial tournament games, I tend to start believing in prophecies (I still reason things out sha oo), animal and human predictors.

And of course, it's the predictions that favors us that I accept. Confirmation bias abi

When you love something, this kind of thing can happen to you.

May even be 5:1

Exactly

I'm looking at the "soft skills" and not just football or technical ability. This is where I'm wary

Mahrez is gonna have his worst game of the tournament today against Nigeria.
They will be out classed, out played, and out muscled...

The boys will play as though there was never any issues between them..
A very dominant win for Nigeria today.

Algeria will concede, Nigeria will concede, but SE will outscore to win. You can take this to the Bank. Just pray for Osimhen.

We were leading 3-0 against Mozambique when Bruno failed to pass to Osimhen in space. Bruno did not sabotage the team but he sabotaged play.

Finito.

I rate Josh Chibuzo Oluwayemi than Arthur Okonkwo, his physical presence in a goal post is massive just like Carl Ikeme but Okonkwo is ready for us

Good 3-0 but if we're trailing Mozambique by a goal he sabotaged the team right not play?

There is this Algerian defender I h8 with everything in me because he is so dirty and full of dark arts. I hope he has a nightmare today. Bansebaini or whatever he calls himself.

If everybody works today ( tracking back, doubling up with the fullbacks against their wingers, pressing aggressively) for the team . I see us in the semi's

Yes the boy is good, but I wish he was taller. Like you said, for now, Okonkwo is more ready.

If we were down a goal, Bruno would have chosen to get the ball to Osimhen. Because he has no intention of sabotaging the team.

That is why I hope Chelle changes their mindset to aim for strict adherence to the system, even if we are leading 10-0.

It is a game of mastery and continuous practice.
