If everybody works today ( tracking back, doubling up with the fullbacks against their wingers, pressing aggressively) for the team . I see us in the semi's
How I wished Aina and Frederick are available....happy that Bruno proved he is better than Sanusi, this tournament would have been Festus Agu show

I watched Arthur Okonkwo live during pre season and I was not impressed, against Nottingham yesterday cuz of him I needed to switch to his game watching Cameroon Morocco, not really convincing but saw slightly improved Okonkwo, though better than Okoye when he first got his national team call,I will rate him 7/10 he saved two penalties, now Okoye has improved beyond doubt and highly rated...I think he will come good with time....having Nwabali,Okoye,Okonkwo and Uzoho is good for the team
Elder, I can attest that you have been consistent in saying this about him but I disagree with you slightly.

Here"s my assessment of him after watching eight match highlights of Wrexham AFC (which included the referenced Swansea match in the tweet) from the clubs youtube channel.

Strengths: Calm temperament/composure, commanding goal presence, good positioning, dominant aerial ability, sharp reflexes, elite shot stopping ability, excellent in 1v1 situations, specialist penalty saver.

Weaknesses and Areas of Improvement: A bit gaffe prone, ball distribution needs improvement, mid ball playing ability (prefers to clear back passes rather than play out from the back with his defenders), preference for catching crosses in crowded areas rather than punch out.

In summary. he's a Donnarumma-lite with a high ceiling and room for improvement. I do not think Maduka Okoye is better than him.

Exactly

I'm looking at the "soft skills" and not just football or technical ability. This is where I'm wary
This is where some people say that the innit boys have watered down our team. Not in terms of footballing abilities but that I no go gree attitude which Nigerians have and which our teams have demonstrated on the pitch in many crunch matches.

Check out in 2013. Ivory coast had an array of stars. We bested them. Can these crop do the same?

Algeria will concede, Nigeria will concede, but SE will outscore to win. You can take this to the Bank. Just pray for Osimhen.
I'm confident we will win.

There is this Algerian defender I h8 with everything in me because he is so dirty and full of dark arts. I hope he has a nightmare today. Bansebaini or whatever he calls himself.
Yes. This would be his worst game provided the ref doesn't misbehave

I rate Josh Chibuzo Oluwayemi than Arthur Okonkwo, his physical presence in a goal post is massive just like Carl Ikeme but Okonkwo is ready for us
I miss Carl Ikeme

May even be 5:1
Same scoreline Colin Udoh predicted. All I can say is una dey predict sha.

Me, I don't see this Algerian side conceding four goals but I'll echo a big amen and say may your prediction come through.

I'm still yet to recover on behalf of Cameroon from the way Morocco swarmed them like bees and stung them all over their body.

They man handled them. A whole Cameroon oo, known for their physical aggression and tenacity. The Moroccan team mauled and gored them.

We are coming sha.

Lol Morocco were head and shoulders above Cameroon, all these ref talk na consolation
The Tunisians were head and shoulders above Mali in the round of 16, imagine if the ref had not given Mali that last minute penalty.

Would the Malians have won that game through penalties?

That's where a balanced officiating matters more.

Horrible officiating in Morocco
They want to win by force
Do they have a strong grip on CAF or what type of soft power do they have ?
So this is how to force ROI
I don’t think FIFA will allow this at the World Cup though
You want Morocco to go out at quarter final so that the stadium will be empty for the semi final and final matches?
Now that they have a chance to play 2 more matches, fair officiating will return

Yes, reason why I said with time he would be there just like Okoye but how I wished we can have Josh Chibuzo Oluwayemi in the midst.

Nigerians on different platforms are asking if they will get fair officiating against Morocco, I say win Algeria first then we discuss Morocco later

They could’ve gotten a red card against Cameroon & that Tanzanian going down due to exerted force was a clear penalty.
Svcks Nigeria can’t host anything due to bad leadership & insecurity
I don’t think the experienced Nigerian players will be able to cope with the atmosphere & Moroccan intensity. But they’ve experienced it against Ivory Coast so 🤔
Maybe we can slow the game down lol

Mahrez is hopeful of another free kick.

We should avoid a foul in our half by all means.
And how is this possible the whole game.

Ismael Saibari, the Moroccan #11's goal was the 2000th goal in Afcon History.
Wow, how time flies, I remember reading complete sports in 2004 when J. J okocha scored the 1000th goal against South African. That very match we beat SA by 4 nil .

It looks like 4:1 or 3:0 but don't be surprised if bad officiating prunes our goals down to 2:1 or 1:0 still in our favour.

Uzoho was three years away from the team. He's in the team at Afcon now. In fact he featured in one match. If we go on to win, will this not be a story of grace? Kai
