Same scoreline Colin Udoh predicted. All I can say is una dey predict sha.

Me, I don't see this Algerian side conceding four goals but I'll echo a big amen and say may your prediction come through.
I had a weird dream/vision about it

Even though I'm tipping algwria to win, but I think Nigeria will win by a large margin

No I forsee one of our midfielders scoring a brace

Lookman will get just one assist while Osimhen will be very silent today

This is where some people say that the innit boys have watered down our team. Not in terms of footballing abilities but that I no go gree attitude which Nigerians have and which our teams have demonstrated on the pitch in many crunch matches.

Check out in 2013. Ivory coast had an array of stars. We bested them. Can these crop do the same?
The innit boys actually show more passion on the pitch. Bassey, lookman and iwobi (I hate to admit this) have shown up for us in key games

It's actually the home-guys that mess up

Sentiment aside, if we somehow come out victorious against Algeria; am not sure we have a chance against Morocco. Those boys play Europe standard soccer. They have a very balanced Defense and Midfield. Their attack may not be as potent as ours. But you see their Defense, they're too pacy! Watch how they closed down Mbuemo in many occasions. Moroccans are very fast. I think it's the only advantage they would have against the Super Eagles. Our backline aren't pacy. Our defensive Midfielder (Ndidi, Onyedika) are both slow.

If we can match them pace for pace, spirit for spirit; then we may have a chance even with biased officiating and crowd influence.

For now, let's cancel Algeria first. I'm only wary of their Midfield and that their number 11 weh deh run like Benz.

Yes the boy is good, but I wish he was taller. Like you said, for now, Okonkwo is more ready.
Who's taller between the 2?

I thought the comment you quoted said otherwise?

Eagles have gotten all hopes high to dash them as usual. Well, I just hope this time things will be different, but seeing all these high score predictions makes me laugh. That isn't to say I have no confidence in our team but we have been here several times, so I will choose to remain cautious. In Jay-Z's voice "I'm hoping for the best yet expecting the worse" so that I won't feel too bad at the end.

Lol which kind take be this? You set up your team to neutralize your opponent, and you use the advantage you have over them to beat them.

Stop them from passing to their wingers, and pressurise them with our fire power and they're done for.

In my dream I saw lookman give a 360 assist to Osimehn who gave a bullet header into the top right corner of the Algeria goal post
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Bossoflife25: 2:52pm On Jan 10
My only fear is, we don't know how the team will react if it concede first.

The team hasn't dealt with such situations aside the South African away game.

On twitter, the Algerians are debating our most dangerous players.

Some said Iwobi and Lookman need to be taken out, which we all know they would try to do

But when someone mentioned Ndidi and Onyeka, I became scared. It shows these guys know a lot about our team.

Shockingly, nobody mentioned Osimhen and Akor. lol!
Underestimating Osi and Akor will be their greatest undoing.

However, if they take out Iwobi, Lookman, Ndidi, and Onyeka by pressing them consistently when they have the ball, Osi and Akor might become frustrated up top.

Today is going to be a long day.
Unlike our previous opponents, Algeria has the quality wingers to harm us. Just like we have the attack to hurt them.

Osimhen must find his scoring boot today. No miss chances, no offside crap.
Every single opportunity must be put away if we are going to win today.

For God and Country! God bless the Super Eagles. God bless Nigeria!

Bro, if my predictions come through today as I said

Osimhen and Lookman will be relatively quiet today and Akor Adams will be thwir greatest undoing

Bro, the Morocco I watched against Cameroon are very beatable

Cameroon approached that first half with fear and negativity. They paid dearly

By the time they woke up in the second half, it was too late

Moroccans are good but we match them in all quarters. Barring poor officiating when we beat Algeria and happen to meet Morocco, they will lose in front of their home fans.

The high scoreline i predicted doesn't come from hope or optimism. Those that know me know that I'm not wired that way

Its a weird feeling and sight I can't explain

Our greatest challenge in this tourney will come in the final against Senegal. Senegal will edge out whoever wins between CIV and Egypt. I'm quite sure of this

I don't see Morocco as a true test.

So, if I was to follow Logic, Algeria should edge it out Narrowly but I have a feeling I can't shake that they may be mauled today

Ndidi should sit this one out. For the more robust Raphael.
Ndidi can Probably come on in the second half as we try to wrap up the game

My heart say rout , my head says it can be a loss or win…

My only fear is how the team always loses focus when it matters.

But if they fight, a rout is sure…

Please SE don’t fold and be scared to play abeg o…

That atrocious spirit of timidity when it matters I rebuke in Jesus Christ name. Amen

Crowd will be loud , they will be close to the pitch booing and cheering, Algeria will come with fire, pressing like lions at every turn, hunting every loose ball, charging the defense quickly, shooting and running.

But calm down and punish them. They will leave spaces, just clean passes and we are in their 18 yards, we slot home, first goal.

I dey see us winning 5-2…
