This is the type of game you regret losing if you do not take your chances.
How did Akor miss that?

Anyways, I am so happy we now have a team and a system of play since 2019!

No matter the outcome we have shown to be one of the best on the continent.

The sky is the starting point!

Moniter0:
The coach should speak to the players to shoot at goal if they are in positions to do so and only pass to Osihmen if he is in a better position to score. Goals can come from anywhere!
That will be "sabotaging".

The ref has been so kind to Nigeria . Denied Algeria a clear penalty

Thanks goodness you said not many coz I am one of the few who expected us to be this dominant. The setup we execute and the directness of our plays and high intensity pressure we play with which enables us regain possession quickly suggests we would see more of the ball. Just miffed we are not 1 goal up at least yet. But it will come. Our goals are coming.

Danielnino00:
But damn, not many of us expected this game to be one sided like this..

Kudos to Chelle and the boys...

We need to score early .

Algeria haven't had a single shot all game, but they are still a dangerous side...

@A
akwesenana:
Choosing not to pass to a player in space is not necessary intentional nor is it sabotage. The player might be camped in offside, or the player with the ball feels there's a better chance of him scoring than the player he intends to pass to. Nuance is very important in such situations. All being said, sabotage is a very strong word.
This is actually out of context. The context is about a player being in a better position to score and the person with the ball knows the person in space is in a better position. Feeling does not count but sticking to the tactical grounds. This is not about not passing to a player in an offside position.

The point is simple, pass to the person in space and better position.

Finito.

We just need to tune up the intensity of our press and play and Algeria is cooked.
