But I also think we should start moving on from Moses Simon after this tournament

Not that I hate him oo but what do y'all think?
Yes
He should be phased out of the team

Inter are already linked though I doubt they can afford him
Bassey is a world class defender.,a big steal for Nigeria 🇳🇬. Anytime I see Bassey, my mind goes to Saka, another quality player that would have added so much to this Nigeria team.

Egypt ripping up the form book. Lead defending champions Côte d'Ivoire 2-0 in the quarter finals. 35mins played.

Theobangs:
Either they purposely drag the ball to penalty, then nail you then.

Or they score 1 goal and lock up their defense,
Or one last minute shot in injury time.

If Nigeria day play desame way them day play for tournament we go day clamour for their head, but one way or the other they sabi squeeze result.........the day I fear Egypt was watching the 2010 afcon finals,Ghana literally throw their life at Egypt from the 1st minute to injury time, then boom last minute shot finish Ghana
I'm telling you..

Ok sir, "in house noisemakers" got it 🤣🤣🤣
TheSuperNerd:
Emmy, you insult the actual inhouse analysts here by saying this. No true analyst of this thread would make such comment. Everyone that did say that nonsense is just a "reactionary" mouth breather. And I know some of the folks that uttered that rubbish. Disgusting stance it was.

So abeg, no call them analysts. Noisemakers seems better.

Moses Simon has done well for super eagles,I think 🤔 it is time for him to retire from the national team.. perhaps he wan reach 100 caps
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 8:38pm On Jan 10
CIV's wingers are dangerous and exciting but I was wary of how much impact their inexperience will have on today's game and it is showing. Also Guessand at CF isnt imposing. Does not have the "presence".

Egypt using the experience edge to oust this exciting Ivorian side. Emerse Fae won the Last Afcon but if he thought he was gonna win this current Afcon with 2 starting young wingers and a manageable CF, then he is kidding.

Our boys too ensured that they started talking to the referee from the first minute to prevent the Algeriansfrom intimidating him
I like that we stepped up too
We were not soft today at all
We sef, we man up well!!

A lot of people have in the past labelled the present crop of Super Eagles players as average.
An opinion that i kept refuting.

I kept insisting that what we needed was a better coaching.
It is now clear for every one to see.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Spainever(m): 8:39pm On Jan 10
Iwobi will always do well when you have two DM Onyeka and Ndidi/ Onyedika playing . It gives him room to roam and make penetrating passes. This is what we have been crying 😂 for .. Chukueze can come in for Adams or Lookman but not for defensive midfielders

Make Michelle run am for super eagles. Anytime the boys reduce intensity, make she just give them that killer smile.
And she actually came around. Our national girlfriend.

Most of you don't know how to read match. So, you didn't see Algeria man marking him.

He no Sabi role but contributed 7 goals.

What about Osimhen? He should have crossed earlier before driving forward. But he decided to move in before hitting the ball on a player.

You no see that one?
i thought I was the only that feels Osimhen should have square that ball much earlier. It's all football, easier to analyse and say what and what a player should have done while on the pitch.

The match started during work hours, so I followed most of it online. On my way home, the driver was streaming the match while driving, very risky, but the excitement was unreal. When Nigeria scored the first goal, the whole car erupted.

When I got to my junction, the driver refused to collect payment.

He was Hausa and Muslim.

Don't judge the north by the actions of some stupid fools.
I'm glad we didn't lose and I'm not putting them all in one box. This story probably would have been different if we had lost. It was embarrassing watching some of them slaughter rams to celebrate Algeria's win against us in 2019.

Yes, I was mad with the coach, especially with those substitutions against Tunisia, but now I am his number one fan, me sef no go ever tolerate any slander against am again.

Am 100% satisfied with this team and coach now, no matter what happens next, and I will be here defending the coach and the team.

It takes huge character for a team that had disappointing games in the WCQ series to come up now with these king of spectacular performances, it's simply magical, just how do you imagine osayi and bruno coming up with such a kind of performance omo their babalawo strong o!. This is 100% score for the eagles no matter what comes next.
