If we win the AFCON on regular time, we should be in top 25 as the remaining teams are above us I think.
Exactly, I think 21 or 22 is even possible.

That would set up a Nigeria vs Egypt final.

Perfect, because we need to explain to the Pharaohs that the friendly match before the tournament was just for charity, and pummel them beyond pardon.

For the first time in AFCON history, Nigeria has won FIVE consecutive matches in same tournament.

They were the ones committing fouls everywhere, I guess they are angry d referee didn't buy into their usual theatrics. I hope the players involved get banned by CAF and FIFA from all football for some time. You can not assault a referee, it mustn't be condoned.

Osimheen will make that star studded Atlanta Olympics 1996 squad
Best striker Nigeria has ever had, ultimate team player
Potentially the best player we've ever had if he signs for Real Madrid next season and wins the UCL grin
Nwankwo Kanu more skillful & technically gifted though but Osimheens workrate is 2nd to none
I think Real Madrid or Barcelona gets him next season, Vinicius is leaving

Osihmen was against not passing to somebody in a better position to score. He wasn't saying he must be the person to pass all the time. Osimhen normally applauds any player that gets into good goal scoring chances and goes for goal. He is only against not releasing the ball to a better place player whether he is the one that is better placed or not. Like I said, if the person with the ball is better placed then he should take it and he will be applauded by Osimhen.
You smart! 🧠💯

This is the kind of spectacle Motsepe and his cohorts want Africans to experience every 4 years.

Interesting match up in the semis.

This SE team have made good teams look ordinary at this AFCON, not a fluke.

If the officiating isn't diabolical, Morroco will be beaten. The SE attack is underrated by Naija fans though. Other African teams have smelt the coffee.

Just love how Iwobi went to jump on Bruno

But omoo this is crazy! I didn't even note we passed our way to goal
Chelle has transformed this team
Almost all our goals have been team goals, orchestrated from the midfield, sometimes even the defence, like this one..

As a side note: we scored less than 2 minutes after the restart..
We shocked Algeria
They stood no chance..

Real Madrid had the BBC.. Benzema, Bale, Cristiano

Super Eagles have the O.L A.. Osimhen, Lookman, Akor!!!

Massive 🔥🔥🔥

Agreed, those guys showed us way too much respect, imagine not having a shot at goal for about 80mins, and no shot on target for the whole game, i believe morrocco will be the true test for us, and if not, Senegal would be the true test. .
BankyGee:
We are in 27th now, Algeria in 28th, we are 3rd in Africa now.

But to be sincere, I don't think Algeria was a true test.
