Blueelf:Chelle in his earliest interview upon being appointed stated that coaching Nigeria has always been his dream. Mali now sacked him. Finidi effed up. There was a vacancy and the rest his history |

Blueelf:Mali fired him because they struggled in their WCQs when he was coach. However, they asked him to come back but he refused. Now as to who recommended him, that one, I no know. |

TheSuperNerd:There was one one Algerian fan the camera caught gesticulating that money had exchanged hands. The BEIN commentator spoke about it. |

Mujtahida:Apparently, you are trying to interpret thegoodjoe's bias analyses. How can you see other players playing the same but you single out one player to improve his game? Are you telling me the other players don't need improvement? Maybe you think everybody are dun.ce but I am not. I can read through comments. This is not preconceived notion. These are written and posted here that can be presented as facts.. No call dog monkey for me. Abeg. Abi, you no dey here when some claimed SE can't score more that 2 goals whenever Lookman plays or he is not good behind 2 strikers? No lie you didn't see that. |

Blueelf:Mali started their World Cup qualifier poorly, lost at home to Ghana and drew Comoros away, there’s a video where a Malian journalist told him to resign because he’s not good enough, few days later he was fired. Nigeria hired him because they were looking for a cheap coach who knows African football so I guess he fits what they wanted |

🇨🇮 Ivory Coast's 3-2 loss vs Egypt sees them suffer their first knockout defeat at the Africa Cup of Nations outside of penalty shootouts since February 3, 2013 against Nigeria. Nations with the longest unbeaten streaks in the history of the Africa Cup of Nations: - 🇪🇬 Egypt 24 matches (February 2004-February 2017) - 🇳🇬 Nigeria 16 matches (January 1992-February 2002) - 🇸🇳 Senegal 16 matches (since January 2022) - 🇪🇬 Egypt 15 matches (since January 2022) Now Egypt and Senegal are on collison course... One must cave in. |

daveP:They are all arrogant people who feel because they played the game at the highest level they can’t submit themselves to proper learning I mean an amokachi was assistant to even keshi how come he’s not even good enough to be producing the kind of results Chelle is producing. What they do mostly is to criticise the current generation of players to make it look as if no one else can be better. Honestly I am ashamed on their behalf. |

Algeria coach, Vladimir Petkovic, after losing 2-0 to Nigeria in the AFCON2025 quarter-final in Marrakech: “Do I have to tell the truth or should I be political [about the match]? Nigeria deserved to win this match. They were better than us. It was difficult to get into this match… We were hit left and right…”

forgiveness:Below is my post on Iwobi during the Tunisian game. TheGoodJoe:In the game against Mozambique, there was a sharp increase Iwobi's long pass game. I only try to see where there needs improvement and Lookman increasing his transition frequency will work in the team and his favor. There was no bias at all. cc: Kog45, forgiveness, Mujtahida |

Morocco vs Cameroon Attack momentum Modified Looking at this stats, they are definitely beatable as long as we don't concede first -- and we never have in this tournament

Blueelf:Eric Chelle left the Malian Job because the Malian FA was trying to impose players on him. Even the Malian President tried to intervene but Chelles mind was made up. Eric Chelle was the front runner before Finidi was appointed (USA 94 players influenced the sports minister then). Give Eguavoen and the Technical Committee Kudos where it is due. There were only about 4 of us on this forum who supported his appointment then. We saw what we are enjoying now.. |
