You can't say you encounter Jesus and not be transformed,the way you dress,talk, even walk will changed.Imagine him coming to preach to you with tattoos all over his body won't you run away or make mockery of him because that proof of Christ is not in him,if it is something that can be removed why not.

What I have come to realize from all of this is that many of these things are done mainly for social media trends. People post them online not because it truly matters, but to gain attention or avoid being left out. It is mostly about publicity. They just want to catch fun, follow the trend, and do whatever brings them visibility.

If l can even come back to Jesus as a backslider l will be the most happiest man on earth.l learnt backsliders can't get back to Jesus.When l remember the joy of salvation,the hope of believers awaiting his imminent return,l wish l never backslided.

People that have do permanent tattoos, I often see them as having a serious mental condition. How can you just decide to "deface" your skin without any reason? One thing about getting a tattoo is that it is never ending. Getting a tat leads to getting another and it goes on and on.🥱

Yes u right, since the tattoo is removable I think it's best thing for the man to do.

Moreover the scars of the tattoes are still there for anyone who needs that to believe, and your take also shows you believe how a man appears can also influence their chances of converting souls to Christ.

When preaching and teaching from door to door it's his dressing that will speak for him not his skin so if he's well dressed in suit and tie with the hairs of his head well combed of course most people will like to know what happened to his skin and that's the opportunity to deliver the message of God's Kingdom.

On the other hand if they got to a place where gangsters with tattoos stays his appearance will make many of them calm to listen other than when there is no one among the preachers looking like them!🙂

U called Paul a former pharisee... Did he remain a pharisee while preaching and teaching?? ..how does one encounter God genuinely yet remain the same outwardly and only change inwardly?? I don't think its possible......tbcos the outward is an expression of what's inward

What's on the inside ...his belief and faith should be reflected in action ..behaviour ... outpouring of love and humility etc .... not on the skin. He just confused ...tattoo ink be messing with his brain.

Paul's appearance didn't change rather it's his attitude that changed.
So when Christians saw him they were running away thinking he's still coming to persecute then not until they saw him preaching and teaching zealously about Jesus as the Christ.

As for me, the most important thing is that his Repentance and coming to Jesus be genuine, so Jesus can save his soul from spending eternity in hell, because no pain or suffering in this world could compare to that.
