That’s fine. I re-booted my stock trading around October last year too.

We will monitor it together.

Lool Brother even 0.5% difference is not a joke talk less of a wide marginal difference.

If i were him, i would have 3-4 accounts with reputable operators. The highest performers gets the fund. The remaining go hold 50k till they perform better grin

When no be juju Stanbic use tie me down.
Me I no give them anything hold I clear everything and move on to the highest bidders no time 🤣🤣😂

Thank you bro and thanks to everyone else for their input. I read all the comments and also did my research. Peace of mind is as much a factor for me as is interest. I have decided to stick with Stanbic.. I will be topping up monthly.

CardinalStone and Quantum Zenith. I made some crazy gains sometimes. It all depends on the daily rate; however, the rate is unstable, unlike MMF. If you are patient, you will make a lot more from it.
Cardinalstone is for Equity and I saw you mention another fund.. What is it?

I need to change strategy this year

Fixed income fund. Reach out to @emmasoft. SFS Capital is doing well. The fixed income fund is like a turbo boost.

I don't use it. I prefer to deal with the fund managers directly.

Re: Mutual Funds by Nobody: 1:20pm On Jan 11

Emmasoft once posted a weblink for their daily rates.

milliondollarma:
Please how do one confirm the current rate on norrenberger app before going ahead to invest?.
Re: Mutual Funds by freeman67: 1:25pm On Jan 11
As a contrarian wey I be, let me inform us that equity funds is only sweet when NGX is in bull season such as this present period oooo. It's not always like this every time. It is the most risky mutual fund of all the funds managed by asset managers. So if you are looking at the returns just bear the risk in mind too.

With MMF which is the least risky of all funds, interest earned today remains even if TB rate reduce to 2%. The interest will never come below what's earned unless you withdraw. Equity funds however does not have regards for interest earned ooo unless it's withdrawn. If serious bear show na so e go tell on the funds too ooo.

It's said that the higher the risk, the higher the reward but for balance and better investment risk management we should just learn to diversify.

Re: Mutual Funds by Beeron: 1:30pm On Jan 11
The only thing I am glad about for, is the fact that, this MMF thread has become accepting to discuss other investments and other asset managers.

Before it was a one way street conversation, when you mention Equity, stocks, anything that involves a little bit of risk or any fund/asset manager not used often here you immediately get shut down with replies like, "we only invest in safe investment here", "This is only MMF thread." Bla bla bla

I'm glad that is changed and people are beginning to embrace other people opinion in terms of investment strategy and which asset managers to invest with.

Special thanks to EquityM for reinforcing his stance and investment strategy eventhough he was bullied at first for bringing up Equity investment here. He wasn't deterred one bit, he knows the risk involved and owns up to it. He even posts screenshots here.

This is why I call him the number one real investor I know here.

The common goal here is to win and we can only win together when our investment(s) beat inflation year on year.

@temi4fash you can start investing while your account gets upgraded.
If you don't mind get in touch so that I can link you up with a team member tomorrow morning to assist you. You can also click contact support as you login to the app and make your complain, I guess it could be issue of proof of address that is causing the delay.
Re: Mutual Funds by Nobody: 1:53pm On Jan 11
Amen, bro. Big thanks to you and @emmasoft, as I followed this thread to understand the market. Equity, MMF, fixed income funds, and other funds are all mutual funds. Let's all make money.

I think they will. I also topped up, and it has not been credited. Don't forget the fixed income fund; you should definitely check it out.

I doubt it’s a backlog issue. Notice how all the high interest guys seem to have same issue while the lower interest guys credit your account automatically even on weekends? This reeks of correlation and causation factors

Go to the app, click invest, and click on mutual fund. Choose any of the mutual funds, and you can fund the account using the account number assigned to you. Did they approve your KYC?
