Believe God for a breakthrough

“God has broken through my enemies by my hand like a breakthrough of water.” 1 Chronicles 14:11

The Bible says: “The Philistines went and made a raid on the Valley of Rephaim. And David inquired of God, saying, ‘Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You deliver them into my hand?’ The Lord said to him, ‘Go up, for I will deliver them into your hand.’ So they went up to Baal Perazim, and David defeated them there. Then David said, ‘God has broken through my enemies by my hand like a breakthrough of water’” (vv. 9-11 NKJV).

Notice how David likened God’s power to the bursting forth of waters. He is saying that when God shows up and releases His power, it will be like a flood of His goodness, His power, His favour, His healing, His wisdom, His resources, and whatever else you need. Think about how powerful water is: Only a few feet of water can lift a huge car weighing thousands of pounds and push it all around. On the news we have seen entire houses and buildings carried downstream in torrents of water. Nothing can stop it. Nothing is allowed to stand in its way. And that’s what happens when God gives you a breakthrough and releases a flood of His power on your behalf. And God has not changed. His power has not diminished. “Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You” (Jeremiah 32:17 NKJV). God is able to move on your behalf. And He is willing—so ask Him for a breakthrough.

God is the way the truth and life

Your god only gave breakthrough in your storybook. When real world problems need solving, he goes into hiding.

Any religion that does not uphold the dignity of humanity has lost its true essence. The foundation of every faith should be love, compassion, and the preservation of life. When a religion teaches followers to harm others, segregate people, or deny them their basic rights, it ceases to represent the divine. The true spirit of religion is to make people better, not bitter; to build bridges, not walls; to heal, not to wound. Any belief system that forgets this simple truth stands against the very God it claims to serve.

A religion that kills, persecutes, or silences those who choose to leave it has become an instrument of fear rather than faith. Faith should be a personal conviction born out of truth and understanding, not a prison that traps the mind and body. Forcing people to remain within a belief through violence or threat is a confession of weakness, not strength. Such actions reveal insecurity in doctrine and corruption in leadership. Where there is no freedom to believe differently, there is no God present, only control and darkness.

Humanity is the heartbeat of every genuine religion. To love, forgive, and protect others is the highest form of worship. When religion loses touch with humanity, it turns into a weapon that destroys the very people it was meant to save. God is not glorified by bloodshed or fear, but by kindness, peace, and truth. Therefore, any religion that stands against human life, freedom, and dignity cannot be holy, it is devilish in disguise, pretending to serve God while working against His creation.

You believe God for forgiveness of Sin, not breakthrough.

Ephesians 1:7
In whom we have redemption through his blood,
the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

Then and only then do we get the breakthrough.
Thats why God said seek the Kingdom & all will be added.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness;
and all these things shall be added unto you.

Believing God has nothing to do with 'break through' or 'break down'. The Apostle Paul wrote:

The original word is שְׁלוֹם (Shalom) whch can be translated to 'well being' or 'peace' in mordern english.

I keep praying to God for a particular task,l keep seeing things related to the task in my dream and if l browse about it it will be related to the task but it is not the answer am expecting,could it be that it is demons that is answering and showing me such answers,Can one be deceived by Demon when praying?For example,maybe you hear in your ears when praying that you should do something and you did it but it didn't give you the expected results.

The bible can never lead anyone astray, is simple and straight no matter the version. If you don't have understanding you'll interpret wrongfully.

The point is still clear even with the version you gave, is just that your own used well-being while KJV used prosperity. Either way is still correct, and the point is still thesame because a lot contribute and affect the well-being or peace of a man, be it emotional, financial, social, spiritual, and physical aspect of it. But it seems you're only limiting it to the financial aspect.

You call it mistranslation because you don't have understanding of it. We use word to define word, but the most important thing is the point it buttress about a particular thing or situation.

Something is interpreted in different versions is to give people easy understanding of it, not to lead people astray, and you're at will to chose which version suites you.

You're the first person I've seen saying the bible will lead somebody astray.
