Iwobi will fit into Barcelona's midfield perfectly. Perhaps not yet good enough to bench Pedri but definitely good enough to bench Frenkie De Jong or Fermin Lopez.
you guys overrate pedri.

so he should come sit on the bench for pedri?

lollll

let him stay in fulham abeg

Based On current form yes! Iwobi is better.
Pedri is tops in terms of technique but Injuries have really affected him

This isn't about who is better

Iwobi must play first team football to always stay sharp

Did Troost Ekong win POTM in the last AFCON?
Osimhen won it in the group stage game against Ivory COast for winning us a penalty
Nwabali won thé POTM in the semi finals against South Africa for saving penalties
I think an Ivorian was giving the POTM in AFCON 2023 final
Ekong won POTT for his 3 important goals & defensive contributions
That's my point ..I said MOTM is one of the criteria not mandatory, for Iwobi to win it without MOTM he needs goals,Ekong won it cuz of goals, massive for a defender..if Mikel had a goal he would have won it in 2013,now we have Osimhen and Lookman in contention

This must have been when Ait Nouri tried to bully Osayi and then Nwabali quickly rushed to defend Osayi. Immediately Ait Nouri saw Nwabali's physique, especially the size of his head, he walked away with immediate effect. grin

Bounedjah had to beg on Ait Nouri's behalf grin

Thank you... 1.Osimhen wasn't talking to Lookman but Bruno, Lookman tried to mediate...2.All players blamed Osimhen and things resolved. This brought the best out of the team against Algeria.

Emmanuel Oluwasegun Opeyemi Fernandez. See my shock.
A good CB prospect. Love the height. So fixated on Jayden Meghoma at LB that I did not realise Feranandez is Nigerian. Watched the lad same time I mentioned Meghoma but somehow just never checked his profile. It just skipped my head but I am really pleased to see this.

The best part is he can be invited right away like Ryan. He has no caps for England at any level. We need to snap him up. A good prospect cover at RCB especially but he looks decent at LCB too.

Meghoma with an assist today by the way. Both lads should be approached in good time. This is good.

Don't mind Ait Nouri. He should just thank God that Osayi decided to stay calm, if not he would have ended up on the floor like this:

Chukwuani - CM/CDM
Meghoma - LB
Fernandez - CB

All at Rangers now. But among them, Fernandez is the easiest to bag right away. The other 2 need switch of allegiance.

Keep eyes here ooo.

From this Video, @20.48... you will hear from Chukwueze that Osayi Samuel was picked for doping test. Lol

Are we surprised? Personally, I am not.

Osimhen has been picked 3 times for doping test at Afcon 2025 also.

Danielnino00:
Gentlemen, ladies, thank you all for your patience.

Given the joy the super eagles have delivered so far, it become imperative to ensure that this award is finalised by the end of the AFCON tournament. Regardless of whether we win it or not, I'm sure the majority of us will agree that our national teams have done well last year and this year...

On this note, we will proceed to selection of committee members.
In the past, committee members were selected by popular vote where every member of the thread nominated the moniker he/she felt was deserving of the post based on their football knowledge and passion for our national teams. But the problem is that, most people who are nominated end up not showing up due to one commitment or the other.
As a result, we will be going with the option employed last year where only Volunteers will make up the committee.

The process is simple: if you are interested in being part of the nomination committee, quote this post with "interested". Other monikers can go ahead and like your post if they feel you're deserving of the post. The top 6 monikers with the post likes will join Icon4s (honourary member) who is the founding father of the award and myself to bring the total number of committee members to 8.

The selection process is open starting now until 6pm on Wednesday, 14th January, 2026.

Thank you.

PS: Being member of the nomination committee is totally voluntarily...there is no monetary benefit or any other incentive attached to it.

CC: Semid4lyfe
Still expecting volunteers..

Turn up guys!

Nigeria vs Egypt will be the finals of this competition . Egypt will surprise Senegal while Nigeria will edge out Morocco due to excess pressure on Morocco by their home fans.

We have back to back shutouts. The Morrocans faced weaker opposition. We got this.
