I have explained it repeatedly that Finidi is 100% right in that statement. Tuchel repeated the same thing. I watched a recent interview of Oliver Glasner, coach of Crystal Palace and he said the same thing.

You can't try Finidi's exposure working with Coach Monday Sinclair, Van Gaal, Louis Aragounes. Sometimes people should learn.

Oliver Glasner formation is not the most important - Notes from Oliver Glasner

Crystal Palace manager Oliver Glasner has explicitly stated that the system or formation a team plays is not the most important factor in success. Instead, he emphasizes the importance of player habits, patterns, and how players behave on the pitch.

Glasner's Philosophy on Formations
Glasner believes that a manager should adapt the system to fit the available players, rather than forcing players into a rigid system. He has highlighted several key points regarding his approach:

"The system must fit the players": He always looks at which system might suit the current squad best.

They know a lot about us, how we play, how we build up and how we attack. They are very confident and arrogant, and they are well within their rights to be; they did beat Portugal and Spain.

I am also impressed that they know a lot about us, and the average Nigerian knows so little about them. I call it the ‘Nigerian arrogance’. It’s a good thing, but it is very disrespectful.

I think they are overestimating their capacity against Nigeria. Many of them think that they should press Nigeria and target Iwobi, little do they know that Onyedika will be playing.

U don watch pedri so

Iwobi here and there forgetting there's a certain Onyeka and even Onyedika. Armrobber will mark Lookman ke.. Ok now.

Although I saw some intelligent submissions. We need to be wary of them.

This boy is Belgian and I do not see him playing for us...his papa that time just gatecrashed into year 2000 Afcon starting XI but not a good CB,in fact I rated him as one of the poor CB to ever play for Nigeria, really surprised to see him and Chuckwu Ndukwe in the team

Well said , the coach has done very well. But when it comes to substitution he has not gotten that part well. It was obvious Osayi was extremely tired needed help or change but coach brought in Simon . With respect to Simon ,he has no business in the team but coach knows better . Our substitution and goalkeeper unpredictable character are challenges ahead. Nwabali picks up yellow card yesterday, I hope he will not misbehave against Morocco
Ndidi was injured and had to come off. Onyeka had a yellow in the R016 and Chelle didn’t want to risk losing him in the SFs to suspension so he also brought him off.

He brought on Onyedika for Ndidi and Simon for Onyeka. The idea behind bringing in Simon was to introduce someone who can drive with the ball to relieve pressure. Also to bring in someone more experienced in this stage of the game. I think that’s why a more like for like sub like Nnadi wasn’t utilized.

With regards to Osayi, I think the coach didn’t want to disrupt the rhythm of the team too much.

You guys should expect the Morocco we saw against Cameroon…from the blast of the whistle they will come our with rush giving our players breathless space…but one thing for sure Nigeria will be on the front foot…
na on wednesday Morocco go no wether they are prepared for the world cup or not…so far so good all this our african world cup rep
SA
Algeria
DRC(if they qualify)
CIV
Tunisia
CPV
Ghana
dont know what they are going to the world cup to do….

NIGERIA IS THE REAL WORLD CUP TEST TO ALL OF THEM GOING TO THW WORLD AT THIS AFCON
-If Morocco beats us without ref favour
-If Senegal/Egypt beats eachother and get to the final, then the two finalists(without Nigeria) have a good world cup preparation.

so unfortunately for them, one of them will enter that final, thats obviously Senegal…History will repeat itself again “when Morocco hosted Afcon, the final was between two strong black african rival (Cameroon v Nigeria) while they went ahead to play 3rd place with their North african rival (Algeria v Morocco)

So this year’s final will be:
Senegal v Nigeria

3rd place match will be:
Egypt v Morocco and will still beat them in that game

My fear is now that, hope history will not repeat its that our African rival Senegal will steal the Afcon from us🤦🏽‍♀️

They said Morocco has been unbeaten in the last 23 matches. But a basic inform team can easily rack up these results against these teams.
For Example Senegal has not lost any match in 90minutes for a long time except for Brazil

I would not include CIV in this list. They lost valiantly against a quality Egyptian side.

Absolutely....our style of play at the last AFCON was based on defense and InshaAllah.. we were dominated in possession by almost all our opponents...
It wasn't a system that would have been sustained in the long run because of the long term effects on players... We clearly saw it in the final against CIV

The type of officiating in the on going afcon, if it's continues so many countries will boycott the composition. Morroco is desperate to get the afcon trophy and CAF is going that direction. Let your skill win it and not with politics.

May God help super eagles on Wednesday.
