What i expect Morroco to do is man mark Alex Iwobi, don't allow him freedom to receive the ball, block all passing channels. SuperEagles will be facing their biggest challenge yet. I get faith we will win this game. |

Procashtips:My concern is how Morocco and their FA are really having their way with CAF as if they have Motsepe's nudes. How can the same controversial referee of Morocco/Cameroon match be deployed for the semis for the same team- Morocco. I dont mind CAF going for European referees for AFCON going forward because the injustice is just too much |

9JAMac10:Onyedika too is a good passer of the ball. If Chelle can just twerk his set up a little bit, he would confuse them altogether. This is where Chukwueze comes in |

I think both semifinal games will go into extra time... Morocco can't beat us within regulation time.... 3-1 in favour of Nigeria |

9JAMac10:We have Onyedika who is good offensively He’d be our plan B offensive outlet when in tight situations Plus people are sleeping on Dele Bashiru I hope he comes on in the second half |

9JAMac10:This your suggestion does not make sense tactically, some folks suggested same against Algeria, it did not happen. |

Truidstarr:iwobi cabt be marked .. he plays so deep that, its difficult to follow him else u risk being a man short to defend when he makes a successful oass into the final third |

The Tunisia🇹🇳 FA is set to meet with Coach Eric Chelle's representative and is willing to offer him around $100,000 a month to replace their coach, who was sacked after suffering a 3-2 loss to the Eric Chelle-led Super Eagles🇳🇬 and exiting AFCON 2025 following a defeat on penalties to 10-man Mali.🇲🇱 Tunisia is actively searching for a manager to lead them to the 2026 World Cup. The federation will officially contact Chelle's representatives after the ongoing AFCON. Via: 𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐓𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐅𝐎𝐂𝐔𝐒 |

Blueelf:what are they playing that they cannot be crushed at home….guy a clean technical team will take them to the cleaners…your problem is you think super eagles is not technical enough to sweep them… Morocco 1- 0 Tanzania Morocco 1-1 Mali(a game the 10men eagles of Mali took to them and they started defending) You see with this their past results, they will suffer a stiffer test from the super eagles. Even if we beat them you will still be nurturing fear against next opponents….omo na wa for your pessimism ooo…is it until Nigeria face Djibouti before you will have courage that we can beat a team? |

minfelix:That game will be the toughest match for eagles ,it’s a 60/40 game co of home advantage/referee obvious biased calls ,if we can avoid getting a red card ,I believe we shld be okay |

Iyenemi had this to say about his son's chances of repping Nigeria, “The way I was not treated well, will you go ahead and let your child be treated badly? That’s not good. (We need to do good things), so that the kids that are coming can tell a good story. That way, we can then say, ‘Come and play for our country.’ That way, your child will listen to you." This is coming from one of the worst CBs ever to play for Nigeria, and till date no one can tell where and how he made the team, yet he is here talking about not being treated fine even as his invitation to the team was questionable. Now you guys disturbing us here with the news of his son can rest. Like I always say, I don't see these foreign born players as options for us unless the person successfully puts in that change of nationality request. |

Moroccans are not pulling punches this one I'm hearing that they have again appointed the referee for their last match against Cameroon for tomorrow and how they are using advanced technology to study our tactics. God dey! |

9JAMac10:Unfortunately in doing so, they will be leaving gaps. Iwobi is way too intelligent to attract marking and that is why he rarely gets fouled because he is always in empty pockets of the field. Correct me if I'm wrong |

Should a Nigeria win tomorrow be considered an upset? |

Nigeria now has a complete squad after the tournament to maybe challenge for a world cup medal ![]() Arthur Okonkwo will properly challenge Nwabali, a slick goalie We have 3 decent left backs 3 decent right backs, Osayi is surprising us Bassey will pair properly with Benjamin We haven't seen too much of Igor Ogbu yet We have so many midfielders & I expect Gift Orban, Terem Moffi etc o fight for spots in the team |

I might have to think deeper because I can't explain why at the moment, but I find Tunisia's move for Eric Chelle to be HIGHLY disrespectful. |

FiveFootNinja:It is disrespectful But then the Arabs have never been known to show respect especially to sub Saharan nations |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by lbrichman2: 9:21am On Jan 13 |
yinkeys:It's like you don't know Moffi is currently club less I don't see him getting into the side anymore.. I also don't think Arthur is better than Nwabali Once Nwabali calms down, he's almost as good as Enyeama |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Blueelf: 9:25am On Jan 13 |
yinkeys:Nwabalai better pass that guy Don't let people alter highlights fool you Nwabali is our best GK currently. He just needs help psychologically after loosing both parents in the space of a month or 2 |

lbrichman2:You savi jo He even has the potential to surpass Enyeama if he keeps his head down People are underrating that guy Nwabali as our undisputed no 1 is a hill I'm willing to die on |
