TheGoodJoe:My understanding of football formation at its basics is that a player primary role is determined by football formation. The simple question is, do you agree or disagree? We can't discuss how a certain football formation can aid a coach's approach to games, when we haven't even touched the basics. |

🗣️ Marcel Schäfer, Managing Director for RB Leipzig Sport on Sani Suleiman Signing: “We’ve signed a highly talented young winger in Suleman Sani. He has an exciting profile and all the attributes needed to take the next steps in his development at RB Leipzig. Suleman mainly operates on the left, has plenty of pace, is difficult to knock off the ball thanks to his physicality and likes to run in behind. He also works hard without the ball and shows the right attitude. Bringing Suleman in now is a move made with the summer in mind, as the opportunity arose to secure him on a permanent deal. He gives us greater depth and flexibility out wide. We’ll give him the time he needs to settle into the Bundesliga and are very much looking forward to the journey ahead together.”

Curious to see how Bruno will handle Hakimi ![]() APOTY Hé better play the best game of his life because Hakimi na free kick and crosses specialist We better minimize giving away free kicks in that region of the pitch |

Mujtahida:oh! Sorry to come in, right from the issue osimhen got with finidi the whole 1994 set has that dislike for him they can't show it out because osimhen has beat everybody expectations. I was watching soccer Africa during the world Cup qualifier and the anchor was like " Nigeria got there world Cup qualification on track thanks to osimhen" Not the exact verbatim but something like that and idah peterside brush it aside as if the name osimhen is irritating to him then went further to talk about the team in general. |

Eric Chelle on Wilfred Ndidi's absence against Morocco! 🇳🇬 "I'm disappointed he can't play... He brings so much to the team. But we have other options and I trust them."

TheGoodJoe:I don't usually comment here but this thing wey you dey talk no follow, it's just like saying soldier going to war without formation, they will certainly die like Sufayo. gladiators as far back BC Have battle formation, Even the Pep you're referencing I can't count how many formation he's introduced, the man even gambled by experimenting a new formation in that champions League final against Chelsea and lost... If formation is as useless as you and guardiola think then why do we have Strikers, CB, right/left back, 11 players for just dey the field running around like it's street football |

Mujtahida:And that's a very good idea. I'm a concerned with the possibility that Chelle's pattern and philosophy might leave the team when he leaves. |

foxman04:In a match, a team can end up playing up to four different shapes. So, the starting formation is not as important as the players understanding how to interpret and adapt to situations on the field. Today we have players shift positions during play. Will you say the starting position is the most important thing? It isn't. Finito. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 7:32pm On Jan 13 |
Meliforme:In one of the recent seasons of Manchester City, John Stones repeatedly drifted into the midfield to support build up play. His starting position as a center back, is not as important as him understanding when to drift into midfield and pull back. I hope this elaborates this. |

Hi minfelix:I swear..... even against Cameroon I saw chances that had it been lookman or iwobi that had such an opportunity...they would punish Morocco defense and give osi or Adams who would definitely put it in the net This people would collect wotowoto if they play like Algeria or Tunisia |

Does Morocco have the physical strength and individual quality to match our intensity? Against algeria, the movement and power of vic, akor, and lookman was really overwhelming |
