I am constantly worried about Victor Boniface persistent nagging injuries.
I don't know I can reach out to him.
I know an ancient herbal knowledge that can help him overcome his persistent injuries.
I wish I can be of help to him.

I just finished watching Éric Chelle's press conference for the Morocco game and I can't help but love him more.

When asked about the financial and emotional state of the team, he states he's not involved in financial matters but expresses immense pride in his team's emotional unity, describing them as a family. He feels he has already "won" by having 28 brothers and cherishes their respect and smiles.

He calls the players "my little brothers, my guys", how them no go wan die for am for pitch? Plus he's always composed on the touchline always, but true true if you try do him player anyhow, he fit fight you dirty.

One thing that is sha giving me confidence is that this isn't even the final form of our current squad. You can just tell. We're like 60-70% loading. We're still rough around the edges and some of our key players aren't even available (Aina, Agu, Fredericks). So we can even become much more dangerous than we are currently.

Whatever happens tonight, we need to hope against all odds that Eric Chelle stays. The NFF need to do everything within their power to keep him. If we can keep Chelle and maintain this upward trajectory, I dare say a time will come when we'll be dominating men's football in Africa the same way our women are doing right now. And our major rivals will be teams from Europe and America.

Hopefully those witches in Tunisia don't succeed in their plans to steal Chelle.

Let us pray.

Father, in the name of Jesus
We praise you, worship and adore you
We thank you for your grace upon our National team, the Super Eagles and how far you have brought the team in this AFCON
We specially commit today's AFCON semi-final match against Morocco into your hands, O Lord
Abba Father, take absolute control in Jesus name
Everything, all circumstances during the match shall work in our favour in Jesus name
Laser lights, Injury, red card, bad officiating, own goal, questionable penalties and all devices of the devil against us, squash them in Jesus name
Above all, we pray that at the end of the match duration, we shall emerge victorious and have cause to glorify your name in Jesus name
Thank you Lord, for we know you have answered our prayers
For in Jesus Mighty name we have prayed.

Amen.

Bro... I just read a post not long ago that's similar to this. The guy was talking about the recent Alonso sack. He cited Flick as an example of a coach who is not just a coach but a father figure to the players. Reason why he commands the respect of the players. There was this picture of Raphina (a hot headed guy BTW) going to meet Flick on the bench. Alonso didn't really have that aura, reason why some Madrid players didn't play for him or respect him.

I think Chelle really tried in that aspect. He first built a family before building a team. That's part of the reasons for our recent successes in this AFCON.

All you said now is also what I observed and watched, and I was not in any way surprised. Oliseh and his fellow 94 set goons will also never forgive Osihmen with his outburst with Finidi. They just feel no Nigerian must have the audacity to talk to or about them.

This is why I want Osihmen to shatter Yekini's record, whether we win Afcon or not. The 94 set needs to be humbled, finally, that Nigeria can and will produce far better players outside their generation. That set has issues with vocal Nigerian players, they think makes them feel small inside, including the late Keshi that I adore so much, and they usually cover their insecurity by saying that no one can be bigger than Nigeria, meanwhile, they themselves, both in their days and now, cannot take the shit they give out. Phew!

Osihmen shattering Yekini's record will give him an everlasting Legendary status that the 94 set will forever be envious of, as he will now steal more of the spotlight as an Eagles GOAT going forward, even after retiring from the Eagles. Can't wait to witness this grin
Osimhen will surpass Yekini. It's inevitable

Been musing over this. It is possible. If FDB does start, this means, Onyeka will likely be pushed to the Main CDM role with instructions to stay put, screen the defence and track dangers while FDB double pivots & RCMs. We will see shaa but there possibilities.

Truidstarr:
Dele-Bashiru likely to start in place of Ndidi.

Being compact and stopping the opponents from playing is not an alien football philosophy that was invented by 'Sunday Oliseh', Eric Chelle is not going to him for advise my good man

I did not say Eric Chelle went to him for advise. I am speaking against his thought being influenced by suggestions.

That statement he made is what I heard from Oliseh in 2013 and Oliseh has preached it like a gospel.

I believe the statement came from their interaction and I hope Chelle does not see any logic in it.

Very simple point.

Now back to sane mode

I genuinely think Morocco will be easy

The real challenge is in the final because the teams know anyone can win it and will be ready to die trying

I don't by it. We need someone to read play defensively and break plays too. Ndidi does this nice and Onyedika can meet up with tactical reading.

Bringing Onyeka and bringing on Dele will kill our defensive edge, except Chelle expects the Moroccans to sit deep. Even at that I will prefer Onyedika to help shield during counters.
