Last Sunday Service was an eye opener

I saw a former PDP chairman brother from a very wealthy political family.

He was very low key in dressing
Infact he was wearing sandal pams

And you have guys who dressed up like they are going to visit Trump in White house.

Some of them even came with walking sticks and their traditional atire looking like a million bucks.

When church ended,
Senior man entered his Lexus 2024
All those boys entered Keke and left

I keep wondering, why do poor people dress like a million bucks??

It is the need to impress, the need to show that one is doing well. The rich don't have anything to prove to anybody, their assets speak for them.

Moreover, the rich would rather spend to buy more income-generating assets than liabilities. The reverse is the case for the poor and middle class.

So your own definition of poor people is when they dress decently and enter Keke?

There are wealthy men who dress too much too......Just that,not everybody has the time for such things, and most times it even depends on the kind of mood one is ,at that moment.

Personally,I love dressing simple..... Whether I guide or not,that's my kind of person...So stop generalizing these things please.

Poor people tend to look rich, impress and create a fiction of the world they envisage to live even when they don’t have the funds to live it.

I think it all boils down to the financial literacy of the poor.

As a matter of fact, poor people spend more than the rich with relation to their net worth.

Okon will have a $10 million and buy a G class of $195, 000, while Jide will have NGN10 million Naira and buy a car of NGN8,000,000

The poor are not good with saving, investing or anything that has to do with mathematics. Once they can oppress their neighbors, colleagues at work, and church members, they don’t mind remaining poor. That is why they are always the loudest in the room. Trying to force what they not on people around them.

Just to impress, some even said if you don't have iphone 12, that was the latest phone that time you shouldn't follow them.. in my mind I was saying na God we won go showoff to abi wetin.

Surely, this is not a serious question. Someone who spends all the money that he has in his account on designer shoes and shirt would not hesitate to purchase a Lexus if it was even remotely within reach.
