Two more members of the Rivers State House of Assembly have urged their colleagues to withdraw the impeachment proceedings against Governor Siminalayi Fubara and his deputy, Ngozi Odu.

The appeal by Barile Nwakoh, representing Khana Constituency I, and Emilia Amadi of Obio/Akpor Constituency II comes 24 hours after two other lawmakers adopted a similar stance.

If a governor has committed gross misconduct against the constitution, what is the remedy? Nothing wrong with impeaching Fubara, considering his recalcitrance. I don't know what people are celebrating. This crisis will never end until Fubara leaves office.

A governor cannot govern a state in a democracy without the legislature. These deviants are trying to reward the governor's lawlessness that was condemned by our courts, all the way to the Supreme Court.

All the grandstanding by the Wike on your mandate singing group is a charade. They have all been thrown under the bus. Wike is irrelevant in PDP and APC. The only straw he can latch unto is the FCT minister. Outside that he is dead politically.
