Many Nigerians reason in a backward direction! Bicycle is: eco-friendly, part of exercise, and even in Netherlands - it's a popular means of getting to any direction - even their prime minister goes to work riding a bicycle. Bicycles are good for Nigeria!

IF he buys a Prado Jeep for them, the same you will complain.

What is my business with what he bought for them with state money. If he chooses to buy bicycles, it should be good ones. That is the point I am making.

I am a pro bicycle person. I have 4 bicycles myself. My kids ride bicycles too. If Government choose to buy bicycles, it should at least be a good one. This one is not standard at all!

Excellent initiative.
1. Motivates staff
2. Saves them transport money
3. Improves health and fitness of staff.
4. Establishes, increases or encourages a market for bicycles and with it bicycle manufacturing and repair industry.

I would be disappointed if every federal and state ministry in the country don't copy this initiative.

North and south Nigeria can no longer live in harmony and it's clear to see. It's time we all have a referendum to split Nigeria into 5 or 6 countries. We would agree to share the oil revenue for the next 15 years because, we have been together for 60 plus years. The 15 years will allow the individual countries enough time to build the necessary infrastructures it needs to survive, like major roads, ports, power stations, international airports, new smart well planned capital cities, etc. Also the south south will get the lion share of the split oil revenue, but after the 15 years elapses, no more oil sharing . Each country should finally now rely on their national resources and human capital etc. This will foster competition and development and it's the way to go as no one will feel left out or marginalised. We should share the same independence day of 1st Oct for the individual countries. Everyone would be happy. Our descendants will forever thank us. God bless 🙏🏼
