Where are those calling for Chukwueze to come in? See una life
Man this is a ridiculous take and you know it. You can't prepare well enough for a penalty shoot out . Where he could have had an effect on the game you refuse to bring him on.

You can tell Chukwueze didn't want to play. Maybe because he was benched
Chukwueze has malice in his heart. As in like since he's not been playing, it's like he felt it's better he thwarts the team's progress.

I say this because he was just so casual, so unconcerned with the way he played that ball

He struggled as much as Onyedika today. Lost multiple duels like Onyedika who lost more. Onyeka was the only true soldier in duels today. Stats and eye test dont lie.

To carry out your agenda against Onyedika you want to act like Iwobi didnt lose the ball multiple times today. Funny.
Iwobi lost every ground duel....very weak boy. Abeg, he needs to retire
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 11:53pm On Jan 14
Chelle needs to learn to tweak his system.

Yes, he instructed Iwobi to drop deep to help build play. Why not instruct the same from the forward line.

The Moroccans protected the offensive spaces. Drop the forward line deeper too. This would get them a chance with the ball.

Very good Sherlock. I guess you also did not see how the moroccan midfield press chased Iwobi way deep. Poor indeed.

Dont worry he is out of the game and we still dont have that dominance so you are just spilling to find a fall guy.

It's not as if Chukwueze has been an exciting SE player over the years. Today's match was too big for him and our coach knew it. If he had been brought on, Morocco would have scored because he offers nothing in defence and attack.

Did they even train for penalty.. why nor use players that play penalty in their various club. Players like oshimen, lookman, Paul onuachi scored even akor. When you see the match is heading to extra time, you leave those Players that are good with penalty. Half fit oshimen can still score penalty.

Unserious chukwueze..
Nonsense and ingredients..
Na to dey joke and laff he knows..
No element of seriousness and consistency...
Watch him start scoring hat tricks and bicycles when he returns to Fulham.

The only thing that will console me now is a WAFCON win from the Super Falcons.

Yes. We need to build on this success, retire some players like IWOBI and MOSES.
ARE YOU SMOKING? Retire Iwobi? For what? Please GTFO

Using jokes to hide his malice. I saw through him especially when he'd sit in the bus and be whining. I was never convinced

You have Chidera Ejuke and Chukwueze on the bench, you are bringing Dele Bashiru to play on the wings.

Just crazy stuff.

At least we let the Moroccans have the ball.

Left-footed players should NEVER be allowed to take penalties in this teams.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 11:56pm On Jan 14
Not true. Iwobi dropped deep to escape the Moroccan press in his normal deep LCM role. Iwobi was swamped anytime he got the ball and lost it on few occasions in the first half which made him withdraw even deeper and at a point was seen playing from the LCB role to try make plays.

Onyedika fed Iwobi the ball on some occasions but before Iwobi could turn, he was surrounded. Thus he withdrew.

Meliforme:
Iwobi dropped deep to do what Raphael Onyedika couldn't do, which was to build play.

Chukwueze couldn't wait to go back to the hotel to eat eba
He plays too much
Will be very sad if this generation don't win Afcon
They neutralized Iwobi

In all, well done team. Chelle should be retained. We need to build on this going forward. World cup or not.

What about us? What stopped us from pressing? It just doesn't make sense.

I hope Chelle learns.

As soon as I saw that let them have the ball comment, my morale just fell.

What stopped us from pressing and stopping the Moroccans from building play.
This Moroccan team is well coached and has been together for a while. We aren't necessarily better than them . They have been playing well for years
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Spainever(m): 11:58pm On Jan 14
Immediately it was penalty shoot out ,I off my system because I knew we are losing the game . The players tried but I felt the Moroccans dominated the game , perhaps our coach should have tighten the middle. Iwobi was tired 😩 and most players were stressed . Penalty is anybody game
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheGoodJoe(m): 11:58pm On Jan 14
Dannyxy:
any press on the ball was a foul, that change the whole dynamic, we press we win balls it’s given as a foul
Let’s stop undermining the ref effect on this game
Keep pressing. Let the referee keep giving fouls. Better than sitting back and allowing them with the ball. Sitting back gives us little to know chance to attack.

A frowning face doesn't suddenly make the ball go in.

There's no need to throw away your sense
