Chelle needs to get the team better prepared for PKs. Klopp did that in conjunction with a Neur11 and Liverpool won all their spot kick matches during that period. He can't be leaving it to chance.

Backing Morocco for the title.

What about us? What stopped us from pressing? It just doesn't make sense.

I hope Chelle learns.

As soon as I saw that let them have the ball comment, my morale just fell.

What stopped us from pressing and stopping the Moroccans from building play.
Jidgbo football wey Morocco dey play against our players yet ref blew against us when it was obvious Moroccans fouled.

I never see this kind of poor officiating in my life. Ghanian ref showed bias towards us. Very poor officiating.

Dem suppose get 5 yellows.

Not true. Iwobi dropped deep to escape the Moroccan press in his normal deep LCM role. Iwobi was swamped anytime he got the ball and lost it on few occasions in the first half which made him withdraw even deeper and at a point was seen playing from the LCB role to try make plays.
Iwobi dropped deep to help build play.
This is very simple.

See the yeye casual penalty wey Chukwueze play. Chewing gum too in the process.

We are terrible in playing penalties. Appalling. Why were we playing for penalties when e no sure for us?

Our penalty takers always let Nwabali down.. Always.

I am devastated.

Yes. We need to build on this success, retire some players like IWOBI and MOSES.
Lol grin

I can't kill myself I don't expect they can't get to this level.

You have Chidera Ejuke and Chukwueze on the bench, you are bringing Dele Bashiru to play on the wings.

Just crazy stuff.

At least we let the Moroccans have the ball.
I said the same thing why not bring wingers and let them cross balls . The coach got it wrong

This Moroccan team is well coached and has been together for a while. We aren't necessarily better than them . They have been playing well for years
More reason we were to press and prevent them from having that game. That was our best way to get chances and hit them with fast transitions.

Giving them the ball is showing unnecessary respect.

Letting them have the ball was absolutely disastrous.

Ndidi is key to our set up. That fellow is too underrated! He missed last Afcon just one missed match in this Afcon we bow out! What a player! I salute 🫡

Am tempted to say they were offered a world cup play off slot in place of beating the hosts at home. Cos the performance defies logic

If they are better trained than us, then we press with intensity. Try to win them with athleticism and aggressiveness.

Press and transition.

Instead we let them have the ball.

That penalty loss was wholly on Chukwueze

The final was not meant to be, but Calvin Bassey, Iwobi, Nwabali, Lookman, Osimhen, Osayi-Samuel, Bruno all had great tournaments.

Bassey was especially colossal in defense. A solid defender if I ever saw one.

It is what it is.

He appears too cautious in making changes that would have give us victory . Players were tired and stressed out but no changes

He never does.

Now y'alls can see it. I said it in 2019 and one guy whose name starts with "ch" and ends with "els" accused me of tribalism

Anyways I'm enjoying the tears

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Onyedika was already doing that and his main receiver, Iwobi was always swamped. So he withdrew. This is also simple.

You cannot blame Onyedika without also pointing out Iwobi's struggles today which resulted in us not dominating the middle.

Nigerians complain too much. The boys did well given everything they faced today from the referee. Morocco should be ashamed of themselves for being unable to score a goal in 120 minutes despite all the shenanigans from the referee.

I share the same opinion , but those wingers can't support the defense which would have left us further exposed
