Even Bruno that played 120 minutes tried
Bruno and Osayi locked down the wings
Morocco didn't have any cross come in
They resorted to diagonal balls

They had no clear cut chance
Our team is also well coached
If we had a decent ref, we would have gotten more from this game .

We'll take the lessons
Now we go crush Egypt

That guy doesn't take his career seriously
So much unfulfilled potential
Excessive jokes lol
Same with boniface (minus injuries)

It happened to KC iheanacho. I singled both of them out in 2019

And immediately that moniker called me a tribalism and started foaming on the mouth

Where is ibeanacho today?

Lolll

I'm enjoying their tears. Sheba they called him the next Arjen Robben😅😅😅😅

The Moroccans are a machine
Well oiled, well drilled and they have string momentum
It was always going to be a tall order beating them, especially with CAF backing them shamelessly
The officiating was from the pit of hell my God!

We surrendered the wings and kept the midfield

Onuachu was brought in to take Pk. Chukwueze too. Onuachu scored. Chukwueze deliberately thwarted our progress. If he had scored, we would have won this match.

bro.. why we dey try find scapegoat?

Justice505:
This is wickedness at its peak how can you sabotage a whole team because of playing time, yobo as a captain escorted the super eagles to win the afcon in South Africa he didn't play much he won the cup

Chukwueze have silver and bronze already if you're not getting game time why sabotage the team why not tell the coach you don't want to play, this is wickedness am just hurt.

Around the Maghreb in less than 2 weeks. Interesting itinerary.

Odunayaw:
So we play all the North Africans in this competition after all

We did not do well in today's game. So we should dance about that and not look at what we missed and learn from it.
Can't you see there're some already insulting the players? I'm not against constructive criticisms but no one should dare insult the players given everything they faced today.

I share the same opinion , but those wingers can't support the defense which would have left us further exposed
If you put a fast winger , Hakimi will fall back to defend. The players were tired but coach appears not to know who to remove . It took longer time before Adams was removed even though he was tired

I have seen Evans match Drogba in the tummy and Drogba got sent off.
Of course, I saw that but why? The ref messed the flow of our game.

NWABALI na man abeg.
✅💯

He did his part perfectly well from the numerous save in Regulation time and the penalty save. Our penalty takers let him down, same thing against DR CONGO.
Any slander against Nwabali will never be tolerated here again!

Dude is our confirmed number 1

He appears too cautious in making changes that would have give us victory . Players were tired and stressed out but no changes
All this one na story
If Chuks has scored that penalty, we would have taken this game, inspite of your criticisms of chelle's decisions today

Nwabali- 3rd straight clean sheet - massive
8 in two AFCONs and proven penalty stopper.

I really thank the defence for putting up a commanding display

The refereeing was poor but the game stats show Morocco dominated almost every aspect of the game... Chelle shud have change it after the 1st half. N why sub Osimhen 3 mins to penalty

You have Chidera Ejuke and Chukwueze on the bench, you are bringing Dele Bashiru to play on the wings.

Just crazy stuff.

At least we let the Moroccans have the ball.
You are spot on. Dele Bashiru is of no particular quality

COOL10:
Nigerians complain too much. The boys did well given everything they faced today from the referee. Morocco should be ashamed of themselves for being unable to score a goal in 120 minutes despite all the shenanigans from the referee.
Nigerians never gave this team a chance
That we even got to the semis in string fashion should be enough to be grateful for
I understand the pain but penalties are what they are..
It can go either way

We know our key players now and onyedika is not one of them, better as a sub or when we play minnows

Theoretically we all know better. Let us just appreciate that we did our best.
Room for improvement?Yes
Could we have played better ? Yes
But they gave their all and blocked glaring loopholes shown during world cup qualifiers.
We move.

TheGoodJoe:
Which one is nagging. I am pointing out where we went wrong and how we can learn from it you are talking nagging.

no logic in what you are saying. In one AFCON you won the SF via PK, in the other you lost via PK in the SF. Is that the only yardstick you use to compare teams ?
