forgiveness:We should have expected it and stuck to ours. As far as I am concerned, Chelle let us down. |

Nigerians always looking for a scapegoat. Now they said Chukueze deliberately lost the penalty. Haba why will he do that ? He has never won AFCON. Please the players have done well and the coach tried but I felt the tactical changes were not strong enough to create chances for Osihmen and Lookman |

Well, I have no comments on that. My only pain in the PSO was Nwabali's efforts again not being rewarded. kennysville: |

TheSuperNerd:Onyedika was doing ziIch. lt was wonderful watching Iwobi dropping even deeper than Onyedika to receive the ball. Onyedika's positioning made it difficult for him to even receive passes. Instead of dropping deeper to receive the ball and try connecting the forward line with his long passes (the best long passer), dude will either position himself between moroccan players or place himself in positions where he can be crowded out. |

Had to check back in to see the vibes after the loss. This loss is probably more painful to me than the one against DR Congo. And the reason is because we actually played well, not just in this game but throughout. For starters, the officiating was a massive fraud. Yes, Morocco figured us out tactically, but if the referee has just let us flow into the game and not display his obvious bias with his incessant interjections and fraudulent free kick calls, we'd have been at least 1 goal up. It was obvious that his constant whistleblowing psychologically dampened the boys and they started second guessing whether to engage in certain fuels or not. And this happened right until extra time where we were fatigued. I'm not here to rail on the boys. They did their absolute best. Whatever happens in the 3rd place game, I still consider our run from the group stage to the quarter final to be arguably the finest football we've played in nearly 20 years. Eric Chelle is a fine coach. However, it's undeniable at this point that in-game management is his biggest challenge, and so far it's looking to be a constant with him. At any rate, he stays. There's obviously progress in the team with him at the helm. Plus we need him to prosecute the next couple of AFCON qualifiers and the 2030 FIFA World Cup qualifiers... that is of course, if the NFF will let him. I knew we'd lose this game if it went to penalties. We simply don't have penalty takers and there's only so much Nwabali can do to help the squad. That first save should have put us in the driver's seat for the next 3-4 penalty takes but we fluffed it. As for Chukwueze, I have no words. In my humble opinion however, I'd had preferred he had come in during the time Moses or Dele Bashiru was subbed in. He couldn't have been worse than Moses Simon by any means in my book. Thankfully, the Women's AFCON is around the corner. Hopefully the girls will right the wrongs done here and come out on top again. Alright then, back to Twitter. |

khunz:Today, we did not do our best. If we did our best and lost, I won't have any problem. But, to fold up and hand the game to the Moroccans. That is unforgivable. |

TheGoodJoe:Dessers wey don go house since? Abi you didn't hear it. There's no such thing like bring in Dessers. Chukwueze obviously is among the players practicing Pk in camp. He came in and deliberately gave it away because he's not happy that he's not been playing. |

I don't even understand our players. I've watched interviews of many of them, and they say they practice penalties in training every day. Yet, they always take terrible PKs during PSO. Look at Chukwueze taking that penalty so lackadaisically and nonchalantly. His body language, approach and demeanour was so off, like he didnt wanna be there and I knew he was gonna lose it. Is that the kind if penalty he's been taking during training that he was brought in and selected to be our second PK taker? No be na wa, na real wa. |

lbrichman2: That is you. I have said it, I am more interested in how we play than winning. In the long run, our improvement will get us success. So if we won the penalty, I would still complain. |

forgiveness:All those fouls the red gave against us would have been worse if we were pressing I could count up to 8 questionable calls.. Twice Osayi was hacked down, even Iwobi, not even a card!! Our boys did well CAF just wants Morocco to win That's all Now if Chuks had buried that penalty, we would have scattered that script |

The formation already showed what Morocco set out to do. which is crowd the midfield which had been our engine room. Chelle is still learning, he will get even better. Hopefully he stays |

Chukwueze has always missed penalties for us. Maybe he shouldn't have been the next to go. |
