"If iwobi is swamped, there'll be space for others to operate, so, they can't try it"

Said some sports analysts from okokomaiko

people's comments? those are just people who cannot see positives in the game. bitter lot.

Modified
I watched it. That body language could have been seen before the picks where done. A coach is suppose to also consider the psychology of the players. But saying he wanted to sabotage the team. hell no

Mujtahida:
Go online and read people reach the exact conclusion as me. It's unmistakable from his body language. Did you watch the Pk?

This AFCON is officially over for the SE. We have too many bronze medals already. I think Egypt can take this one. lol.

If these guys don't win the next AFCON, then it is game over for the core of this generation. The team will go another rebuilding phase and AFCONs will be quadrennial.

All those fouls the red gave against us would have been worse if we were pressing
I could count up to 8 questionable calls..

Twice Osayi was hacked down, even Iwobi, not even a card!!

Our boys did well
CAF just wants Morocco to win
That's all

Now if Chuks had buried that penalty, we would have scattered that script
Ordinary corner sef dem no give us 😂

Is it our podium history or what?
Records against that zone actually

I hate to see jittery nonsense about "north africans this and that"

Would have been a statement if we beat them all but alas

@emboldened... Nwabali got us a chance to gain the psychological edge in the shootouts but the Chuks miss threw it away.

It is well. We move on. We must build on this.

The middle again is where we lost the game!
On the contrary, we did not press. We did not alter our shape. It was towards the end I saw a bit of thinking but it was too late.

Same with boniface (minus injuries)

It happened to KC iheanacho. I singled both of them out in 2019

And immediately that moniker called me a tribalism and started foaming on the mouth

Where is ibeanacho today?

Lolll

I'm enjoying their tears. Sheba they called him the next Arjen Robben😅😅😅😅
Iheanacho will never miss a penalty. I don’t know what you’re talking about.

He was the longest running player from his 2013 set in the Super Eagles, abi do you know where the rest of his teammates from that set are?

Our record against hosts especially if it’s a big soccer nation is just too poor. We can’t seem to overcome it. If we never met the host we will be in the final. We’ve lost two Afcons in a row because of the hosts. It’s terrible

He tried based on his level . He could not make tactical changes to put pressure on Moroccan defence. The coach is what our money can afford . He tried let him continue with his job
Chelle chickened out and abandoned his philosophy. In this game he did not try.

Nwabali did his best but penalty takers let us down for the second time within 3 months. Those who wanted to benched Nwabali for Uzoho ..calm down Nwabali is far better than Uzoho

Bruno and Osayi locked down the wings
Morocco didn't have any cross come in
They resorted to diagonal balls

They had no clear cut chance
Our team is also well coached
If we had a decent ref, we would have gotten more from this game .

We'll take the lessons
Now we go crush Egypt
Osimhen is probably injured

Bro chill. This squad is better.
i wonder why you guys dont take this guy so irrelevantly….i really still don’t understand why he also come to give positive opinions when there is no pressure on this group, only to come and start trolling super eagles when there is a high profile match coming up….the painful part is many so called OG’s here will be engaging in analysing super eagles with him, a super eagles troll and a pessimist!!?…why not stay on the part of you being a non-super eagles fan…🤣🤣
5days to a match you go dey give better analysis, 2days to match you go switch start dey troll the team and trying to shame supporters here…na wa o

How do players handle wrong refereeing during games? Even I as a spectator was already boiling with the wrong calls.

Dessers wey don go house since? Abi you didn't hear it.

There's no such thing like bring in Dessers. Chukwueze obviously is among the players practicing Pk in camp. He came in and deliberately gave it away because he's not happy that he's not been playing.

I did not hear of Dessers leaving.

Oh alright. Well, I hope the lads turn up for the Bronze fight so that they leave with something.

And yes, would have been a statement but another Afcon comes in next year. We must turn focus to that.

Fear 😨 gripped coach o 😂. He needs to work on team management and tactical changes. He didn't know who to remove and who to bring in . I felt if we press we should have created chances and score but he appears cautious

We should have expected it and stuck to ours.

As far as I am concerned, Chelle let us down.
he shud have kept Osimhen n Iwobi for penalty

Ndidi absence affected our shape to be honest. Onyedika was a bit panicky for a big game like this

This is wickedness at its peak how can you sabotage a whole team because of playing time, yobo as a captain escorted the super eagles to win the afcon in South Africa he didn't play much he won the cup

Chukwueze have silver and bronze already if you're not getting game time why sabotage the team why not tell the coach you don't want to play, this is wickedness am just hurt.
elyte89:
Make dem investigate chukwueze, something Dey sup ..dt penalty was too casual ;more like a protest penalty
This thing you guys are doing is not right, penalty is a game of chance it's not a must to score

SundiKeita:
The refereeing was poor but the game stats show Morocco dominated almost every aspect of the game... Chelle shud have change it after the 1st half. N why sub Osimhen 3 mins to penalty
Osimhen got a knock..
I don't see what Chelle did wrong
This was a difficult game to begin with..
We did well dragging the game to penalties
The only thing I see wrong is the way chuks played his..

If he had scored that kick, momentum would have swung in our favour, and we would have won..

Chelle did well abeg
Stop looking for who to blame..
