Goke7:A sound FA is what teams like Senegal, Morocco and CIV have over us.. If we fix that, we have the players and now the coach to get results on the continent |

lbrichman2:Yes and I think it showed in the game they indeed spied on us including the coach tactics I heard some analysts said this and even suggested that the Moroccans should be punished if true. In all it would have been a very sweet victory if the guys took advantage of the spot kicks to send the host packing. The way the game was going it was if all their dark arts were failing until the spot kicks. |

minfelix:Exactly!!! What do they mean by crumbling Morocco play 15 shots, only 5 on target Is that domination? Even possession, we had more than them especially in the second half and ET Na just that chukwueze miss save them |

Kog45:i will keep saying, some of the OG’s here on nairaland are losing their post-match analytic credibility….Cameroon suffered a 2-0 loss for not learning that “you dont play morocco pressure for pressure….you calm d game down and slowly build up pass from the back…to me oo, we played them the best football, i knew we were gonna lose in the pk shootout….our boys are not penalty material….but the way we played morocco yesterday,a top team! is just the best way to play them….this is exactly how they played Portugal and spain at the last world cup…and that was Exactly how Italy lifted the 2006 world cup…France tried to build with calm and collected passed but italy was always sitting back to wait for moments of ghen ghen pressure…such games lead to pk or a 1-0 win sit back, allow your team to build the pass from their defense, then come out and “ghen-ghen press them” then quickly go back again and defend waiting for same cycle to keep reoccurring…these kinda game only lead to penalty shoot out or a 1-0 winner no b wetin dem use jah spain b that for world cup? no b pk? |

Goke7:If that's what you mean, I understand But Chelle wasn't out coached If anything, I was highly impressed with how he managed the game.. Left to me sef, I would have only replaced Onyedika simply because of the yellow card Other than that, we fit play that game for 5 hours, nothing go happen.. Chuks miss killed all our work Especially because if he had scored, the momentum would have swung in our direction |

Chief even in international football it's not easy facing big teams back-to-back unless you have a strong and balanced squad omo you go crumble. Senegal that won in 2021 who dem face? Guinea, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Cape Verde, Equatorial Guinea and Burkina Faso. The Egypt dey beat in the finals sef na penalty. This year Egypt has been the only reasonable opponent they have faced. Winning competitions as much as you require great squads you also need a huge slice of luck. Goke7: |

The reason this loss is not getting the typical Nigerian noise is because Nigeriand saw the passion, intention and attitude of these players every game, doen to yesternight's. Now, you're saying yadayada about not harping on Chukwueze but till tomorrow, you still never forgive Ikpeba and Yakubu for their misses. We know it is pk and "anyone can miss" but guys did you see the nonchalant attitude of Chuks before that pk and the way his body was easy to read by Bono? Naija fans have changed o. It's only on social media dem dey take now. Go try sm with South American football fans now. We all scream down Nwabali neck. But he has proven himself in Pks and yet one or two teammates always let him down. ALWAYS. Swap Nwabali with Enyeama or Ikeme and see how your stance will change to actually calling out Chuks for the rubbish he kicked yesternight. Overall, this team needs to step up in Pk. We can't even beat chest and point our best takers in years. Same problem persist with the female national team and they've still not addressed it. |

Procashtips:That's the desperation to win that we sometimes lack We are too nice as a nation These Moroccans didn't care about global perception, they just wanted to win Our own, we care too much about public perception That's why we treat everyone fairly See how SA played almost all the WC qualifiers at home Morocco did the same here in this AFCON Our own, common to protest the choice of referree, we no fit.. lbrichman2:CAF doesn't belong to Morrocco, yet CAF made sure Morrocco enjoyed all the undue benefits. Football or sport business as a whole is full of corruption. Ditto: Stepp Blatter, Isa Ayattu and the likes. |

zuchyblink:Bros oo, make i drop this for you…if you like bring in Bashiru, Nnadi, and introduce Ejuke,Chuks, the game plan will not still work out nothing go happen at all at all ajeh, th ose guys you call are not big game changers..…Morocco have seen from our previous games that you dont give super eagles space to enjoy themselves else they will punish you…Morocco sat back yesterday whenever we try to build from the back…they also choked our wing plays…Chuks and Ejuke will just be reduce to school boys performers…a serious senior man game changer is what we needed that yesterday…player in shape of Okocha, that will take ball upon him self and try to dribble from the midfield to locate wingers and strikers |

Procashtips:Simple And we need to start playing the game too To pretend that corruption doesn't exist, is to deceive oneself.. CAF clearly wants Morocco to win Senegal have an edge in the final because they would be fresher, and they also have a proactive FA that would likely reject any controversial referee.. But be ready to see Morocco and CAF make attempts to steal the game on Sunday |

In whatever capacity that you have been called to serve your country, see it first as a privilege. Some stupid Nigerian players need to know this. |

lbrichman2:As much as I don’t want the player to be scapegoated but all the anger against him is justified. We won SA on penalties last Afcon because iheanacho another experienced player converted so what was chuks problem sef |

These SE players enthusiasm and desire has been deflated Except Chelle does some monstrous psychological and motivational work, we would lose the game against Egypt For me, just play the boys that have not played Let's even begin the process of replacing some dead woods in the team |

Rest Osimhen and Akor.. Let's see Fago and Onuachu Rest Iwobi, Ndidi and Onyeka Let's see Akinsanmiro, Nnadi and Usman Rest Bruno and Osayi Let's see Zaidu, igoh, Awaziem and Ajayi Let's see uzoho Simon can captain them |

Mujtahida:After Onuachu scored, walai na Bassey or Simon for step up next..PTSD no gree those baba come front.. Penalty is any man’s game ooo….but these guys will likely 95% convert their pks for us to win this game… Lookman Osimhen Bashiru Akor Onuachu Morocco coach knew why he left one of Hakimi and Diaz….you cant just yank off senior men when you know pk is nearing….. imagine the last afcon pk against SA 1. Terem Moffi scored/Mokoena missed (1-0) 2. Omeruo scored(infact almost same style with chuks pk)/Mayambela scored 2-1) Aina missed(same type of Bassey miss against DRC)/ Magkopa missed (2-1) 3. Ekong scored/Mvala scored (3-2) 4. Iheanacho scored (4-2) pls let’s not blame chuks that much…same way Omeruo scored his PK against SA was same way chukwu was gonna score his own if Bono had gone the wrong way.. |

lbrichman2:This team is becoming hard to score against We played the number 1 team on the continent, on their home turf and against a biased referee, and yet still didn't concede.. Bruno, Osayi and Ajayi stepped up massively 🔥🔥 With the returning Frederick, we would become even stronger Our defence didn't panick yesterday No anxious moments My heart no even skip any beat.. |

minfelix:Chuks is one of our most experienced players that’s the issue! If Fisayo could convert what was chuks problem. These are the little moments that matter! It changes everything |

![]() minfelix:I noticed this as well. We don’t perform against other big African nations. Algeria and Zambia were not African champions when we beat them and B. Faso is yet to win the AFCON. Of our 5 AFCON losses. 3 were to Cameroon, 1 to CIV and another to Algeria. All nations outside Algeria at the time had all won at least 1 AFCON… |

lbrichman2:Tactically Chelle did well but where he made a mistake was bringing in Fisayo instead of Chukwueze. Though I believe the reason he preferred Fisayo is because he tracks back and comes in to the midfield when required to help the team when they re chasing possession unlike Samu If I were him I would have risked it all towards the tail end of the game Take off Akor for Chukwueze(instructing him to take on players and provide crosses to Osimhen) then Lookman for Fisayo (instructing him to drift deeper in midfield to add more bodies and drive forward with the ball when the opportunity arises), then play Osimhen as a lone striker |

Chuks gave a glimpse to why he didn't shine consistently at Milan but is now flourishing at mid table Fulham. Dude lacks elite mentality despite his obvious talent. Chelle should give all the players without game time a chance in the loser's final. Akinsanmiro, Nnadi,Fago, Muhammed etc |
