The development comes amid a recent public dispute involving Pastor Chris Okafor and Nollywood actress Doris Ogala, who had earlier made serious allegations against the cleric, further fueling online discussions and scrutiny.

In the viral video, the man claimed that Canadian authorities had taken steps to dissolve the ministry, insisting that it no longer exists as a registered religious organisation in the country.

Speaking in the video, the man further called on Canadian immigration authorities to investigate the status of an individual identified as Bashiru Igbanor, also known as Pastor David Igbanor, alleging that his residency or work permit was tied to the now-dissolved ministry.

According to him, the alleged dissolution means the individual no longer has legal grounds to remain in Canada under that permit.

“We will not allow any fake church to operate. I want to inform the public that Greater Liberation City International Ministry Centre, owned by Chris Okafor and operating in Toronto, Canada, has been dissolved. By law, they no longer exist here. This is why we are calling on immigration authorities to take necessary action,” the man claimed.
