Still really pained ..
Just struggling to get over it..

I need to join people to visit the shameful ref on X.
He really blocked our flow of game.

If the game was fair, we wouldn't need to get to the PK because we would have scored.

But the boys really won my heart
They played well and did their best.
We should not forget that we played against a hostile host country and very biased shameful CAF/ref. Yet Morocco did not score during regulation time.
The players did well abeg.... (but for Chukwueze sha...I no understand the non chalant attitude).
It is well..
I just hope their morale is not dropped due to the unfair officials.

Chelle should please be retained, he is building something in these guys.
During the Dr Congo game, they fidgeted and folded up but this time, they didn't. This is an improvement...
We move ...

Anyone expecting Senegal to revenge on our bequarter are wasting time. They did all that to Nigeria and na Senegal wey go miss 3 players dem no go do am to?

Just forget, this is the peak KissAs Afcon. Morocco will lift their thing. Infact the wafcon too, the women team will win it too. Complete sweep. Lol

This Egypt game is inconsequential. Let the team B get afcon minutes abeg. The only reason they might want to win Egypt is cos Chelle go need something to put for CV. Else, let Egypt just take 3rd place. We have too many already.
Honestly now I wish CIV made it to the final to face Morocco so they will get their own taste of the medicine they also served us in the last finals.

All these talk of they were the better side we for know whether na true or not!

Chukwueze has been in the team since 2019, a veteran of 4 Afcons, that's more than the number of Afcons Amunike, Amokachi, Oliseh, Okocha, Mutiu Adepoju, Finidi had. Yet he treated the expectation of the whole nation with indifference. I say he was motivated by malice. I see no other reason. See how Mikel is down on his knees. See, just see.

Na utobos wey never play organized football before in their lives dey talk rubbish about Chukwueze. You think the boy was nonchalant because of the gum he was chewing or his facial expressions, what if I told you that was his own way of dowsing the tension on him. It just didn't work out, and that's it. The day I missed a PK for my team, I was smiling but I didn't know I was smiling because at that moment I was gobsmacked.

That PK wasn't worse than what SiMoses gave us against DRC.

Not everyone can handle that pressure, Lookman and Osimhen even had to run away.

PK is anybody's game, and not everyone is mentally built to take one. You can be the best PK during training, but the main challenge comes when you have to play it under tension.

Make una rest.

By the way, Zuchyblink I like your write up about him losing concentration especially as he has turned himself to the comedian of the team. My grandpa will always say, it is good to have someone who cracks jokes to entertain others in a group, but never be that person. Today, that is what's affecting Chukwueze, because everyone now sees him as unserious
Brother even if u are the religious one in the group, people will still use that as the reason things didn't work out. U just have to live Ur life and forget about what people think.

U17 of Yemi Tella boys used more than 2 hours to prepare for pk and all were great with practice las las. Yes that stage is less but let's not act like na cos e no dey take pk.

na even for q/final dem for jam sef i think. They got their chance and luck joined. Same with how Argentina won France.

World cup slot will make us forget all of this in a jiffy. But i also hope we go like we mean it. We need to do it better than Keshi's 2013 led set.

Do you see the focus, the concentration in his eyes, his body tuned to the assignment in front of him? It's been said of Messi and even Ronaldo that they approach training and matches with such seriousness even after achieving everything in world football.

Compare this with our Mr. Chewing gum. Again, it is not missing the Pk that is the issue. It is the attitude of treating with levity such a significant moment.

Egypt wey no play anything na im knock them out and the civ team this year was far better with likes of Amad than the one that won the last Afcon. If they brought that same team from the last Afcon i doubt they will make it out of the group stage.

As for the World Cup am indifferent as our drama off the pitch is beginning to irritate me especially all these bonus allowance ish

He did what he did because he's not been playing and felt irrelevant being on the sidelines unlike his teammates like Bassey, Iwobi, Lookman, Osimhen, Akor who were in the spotlight. It was even said that he wasn't happy not to have been brought in earlier in that match.

Every edition of Iwobi's vlog, you'd see him whining about one player or the other taking time talking to the press. I wasn't comfortable with it then but people were taken in by his comedic posturing.

This is my opinion. I might be wrong but this is what I think.

ChrisKels, this is my reason for attributing malice to him. Like I said I might be wrong but I'm not alone in my thinking.

His very first penalty was a carbon copy of Samu's miss. Complaining about a player chewing gum is utterly ridiculous. What does that have to do with kicking a ball?

🔴 Galatasaray maintains concrete interest in Raphaël Onyedika, with advanced discussions on player side.

🇳🇬 Club Brugge wants to keep its Nigerian & asks €20 million, amount Galatasaray is currently unwilling to pay.

No written offer yet.

In our game against Algeria our coach was dynamic make we no lie he had different approaches for that game. The terrible officiating in the semi finals affected whatever approach we brought.
I agree about the officiating but we could only register 1 shot on Target and 2 shots overall..

This is the same thing the Algerians are saying that we condemn them for. Blaming the ref

I'm not a coach but elven I expected the ref to be very boased. I mean it's obvious that Morocco will be served this trophy on a platter

Was the ref biased? YES

Was chelle tactical enough? NO

In the first half, you saw we were figured out and didn't make the necessary changes in the 2nd half early enough.

Although i .Just give kudos to the marked impr9vementa we saw in the team this AFCON

But he needs to be willing to take a bit more risk in making changes as soon as possible

I'm of the opinion that if he'd switched to wing play with Ejuke subbed in, we would've hit those guys unexpectedly and may have snuck away with a win

As foe the officiating, let Morocco continue. Sheba world cup dey come, let me see them wiggle their way to the finals with officiating..nobody send their papa

Chelle was figured out in AfCON

You think other world class coaches at the world cup won't figure him out?

Boss, they won't do more than second round
You finally have a voice, after we lost.

The fact that Chelle was not beaten from open play, shows he was not conquered. That team is still work in progress. I still maintain if we make it to the intercontinental play-offs and then the world cup the team will be hard to beat. We need to inject more quality and creativity into that midfield and wings positions so we can vary, more, our approach to attacks.

this woman won zero trophies during the period under review but somehow she merited the award over justin madugu that won WAFCON and even got to the top 5 ranking of the ballon dor coach of female national team of the year. Morocco is very deliberate about this. They are hosting caf competitions and they are making sure they get something out of it whether by hook or by crook.

What’s the update with DR CONGO case !!!

We need to heat things up !
We will definitely win the case.... Let's expect FIFA's verdict before the playoffs... Mean while, this what FIFA rules states ( according to chat gbt) concerning eligibility

Here’s an explanation of FIFA’s Article 10.2.2 and 10.2.3 in the context of FIFA’s rules governing eligibility to play for a national representative team — specifically the part of the regulations about how nationality is “held” for eligibility purposes:

📌 What Article 10.2 Covers
In FIFA’s Commentary on the Rules Governing Eligibility to Play for Representative Teams, Article 10.2 explains the concept of obtaining a nationality automatically and the conditions under which a player is considered to “hold” that nationality for eligibility to represent a national team.
api.spoleg.com

🧾 Article 10.2.2 — “Further Administrative Requirement”
Article 10.2.2 says:
If the national law of a country requires a substantial precondition before nationality is automatically granted — for example:
a person must renounce another nationality, or
must wait a long mandatory period after birth before citizenship is granted,
then that requirement does count as a “further administrative requirement.”
api.spoleg.com
👉 In other words: if someone can’t automatically become a citizen without first doing something significant under that country’s law, then they are not yet considered to “hold” that nationality for FIFA eligibility.

So the question is how were there able to get the FB players Congolese passport against the country's law on citizenship. The answer is
Forgery!!! And it is not fair

All those our attacks that ref was breaking all in the name of fouls would have resulted into more shots on target so I don’t buy that excuse of we only could get one or two shots. The whole officiating was targeted at our dominance pattern and am now actually questioning the notion that the Moroccans were better. See that run that Bruno was making and he got pulled over by Diaz that definitely was heading for a cross to our strikers what about that run too from Ademola that was cut short by the ref all in the name of a throw in that was never was. Those kind of runs gave Ademola the number of assists he has in this competition so the match was a script well acted not any tactical game. That was the only way the morrocans could contain us yet they couldn’t score. So how was Chelle tactically beaten?

The Moroccans should forever be grateful to chuks and Bruno for their unfortunate loss of pks that saw them through

This is what the next article says

Article 10.2.3 — “Eligible to Obtain a Nationality” vs “Holding a Nationality”

Article 10.2.3 — “Eligible to Obtain a Nationality” vs “Holding a Nationality”
Article 10.2.3 continues:
In cases where such substantial preconditions exist, before those conditions are fully satisfied, the player is only considered “eligible to obtain” the nationality — not to hold it for FIFA eligibility.
api.spoleg.com

This means:
The player may legally be on the path to becoming a national (e.g., the paperwork or waiting period hasn’t finished),
But until the nationality is truly granted under the law, FIFA does not treat the player as holding that nationality for deciding which national teams they can represent.
api.spoleg.com
🔎 Key distinction:

“Eligible to obtain a nationality” ≠ “Holds the nationality.”

Only once the nationality is actually granted under the country’s law (without substantial preconditions) can the player be considered as holding it for FIFA eligibility.
