The speaker understands that he is Mr Nobody and stands to loose nothing after the saga. Unfortunately, they are making Fubara more popular and formidable. Though, Wike is the one pushing him now. Finally, the speaker himself will be impeached.? |

The speaker will be impeached by who?? Fubara is a gonna. It's obvious that he is not a politician. Only Tinubu can save him but SRJ and Ribadu had spoilt the show for him. Except Tinubu is ready to sacrifice SRJ for peace to reign and subdue Fubara for Wike. Things had gone real worst. It's now at the stage of no retreat, no surrender |

COMRADES, I think this is effort in futility against Fubara |

Figger:Lol. Simeon Amadi has been the chief judge since 2021. That means during Wike's Tenure. Knowing how Wike treated and treats judges, it is not difficult for him to align with Wike. However I know that last year this same assembly led by Amaewhule tried to remove him by asking the DSS to impeach him. Obviously he wasnt in Wike's camp, but then something could have changed between last year and today. It is dicey for Fubara now, but let us see |

jflower06:You really don't understand what is going on, Wike is seeking attention from the presidency which he has not yet gotten, his case is already settled has far as Rivers State is concern, he knows that that's why he isn't saying anything anymore, just use the house of assembly to draw attention. |

Has the governor been formally served the notice of impeachment? Hopefully, the Chief Judge will request them to do the right thing if the governor has not been served. |
| Re: Impeachment: Rivers Assembly Speaker Writes Chief Justice by aworatak: 3:58pm On Jan 16 |
This letter is in respect of the deputy governor Ngozi Odu not Fubara. An exercise in futility. |

The Chief Judge Of The State. Will Have to Setup a Committee to Look into it And The Approve it, That's Where You Have a Strong Roadblock. Chief judge Setup Committee of His Own Loyal Judges And Reject it And The impeachment is Dead, |

The guy was really never ready to work in the first place. Even Wike that he is fighting with has projects when he was governor in Rivers State and now projects to his name in Abuja. In 3 years, this guys not have even submitted the budget bill to the HOA, is that how democracy works. Even when you are at logger heads with your HOA, you are still mandated by law to send them your appropriation bill. LegendHero: |

The National Assembly can take over State House of Assembly duties under Section 11(4) of the Nigerian Constitution when a State House of Assembly becomes unable to perform its functions due to prevailing circumstances in that State.

Most of past impeachment had Federal input before been successful, in this case Wike and state assembly members are the losers. |
