Meaning Benjamin Frederick must work like Bassey to command our respect....cuz it will be Osayi/Aina and Ajayi/Frederick,fact Afcon starters have an edge
Make everybody show working Baami! But I trust the competition in the eagles now will bring out the best from everyone in the GWG!

ChrisKels:
No disrespect to Benji but Nwaiwu is a very strong contender for that position unlike Igoh Ogbu, Awaziem and co.

Not a big fan of Ajayi but he did a good job in this AFCON.

Bassey, Benji, Nwaiwu and Ajayi are my choices for any team list for now.
Ekong also had a good AFCON last time and he retired because he was past it already, Ajayi has been good but its time to give other younger prospects a chance going forward.

Make eric chelle re negotiate he contract with the NFF and he should ask for increment of is salary and enabling environment to work. The NFF will are the man very serious now, they have seen what he can do.

Wait o, so nobody reason this matter. At the time chukwueze play that penalty, Morocco has already lost theirs. Chukwueze suppose to be ginger and scored but he didn't.. I dey get the believe say something happen somewhere.

We missed him oo. Benjamin used to go on this mazy drives. Against a side like Morocco, he'd have been a great pillar in that defense.

Nevertheless I salute Ajayi for the tremendous work he did manning the defense. He was jittery at the start of the match against Morocco but he stabilized and got the job done.
I would like to see Chuks tomorrow. Probably it would be
Uzoho
Awaziem Ogbu Ajayi Sanusi
Onyedika Fisayo
Chuks Onuachu Akor/Nnadi Mosis

Osayi deserves to rest and am not sure Alebiosu is back from injury. Nnadi not competing with Akor but just incase Chelle plays a 4-3-3, then Akor should rest too.

Ebenezer, MC Hammer Ejuke and Fago should get some good minutes too.

That's not true. He has his bad days too.
Maybe, but in this tournament, he's been a great guy. If Osimhen is not fit tomorrow, I expect him to do well.

Osimhen and Lookman will most likely play just for them to score goals

We often blame the NFF for playing big brother on the continent. Now that they have chosen not to play big brother with Congo DR, some Nigerians are not happy. They say we are going through the back door.

Well, backdoor or front door, if DRC is found wanting then they must suffer the consequences. The law is the law.

That's what I have been hammering about. Nwabali just gave us the advantage. If he had scored, those Moroccans would have peed in their shorts.

Benjamin vs Rwanda WCQs benching Ekong

Benjamin, a CB so good he had to play at RB 3x.

Benjamin vs Gabon WCQs playoffs.

Benjamin vs DRC in the WCQs playoffs final. The best defender vs DRC in the playoffs when others went to sleep in the second half till end of extra time. He didnt earn your respect then? Kaaaiii na wa for the amnesia for this thread.

Éric Chelle just make every single one of those players pick form make their clubs enjoy. Especially our Atalanta man 😁

The Hansi Flick of Africa. Look man, I love that man.

I no vex again. I even appreciate ChrisKels because he - perhaps without intending to - made me realize that people thought I was attacking Chuks from the angle of tribalism. If I had suspected that people would see my opinion like that, I would have hushed up since after the match. That's gone sha.

Nobody walks into the team. You must earn your place. You slack off, you get benched or even thrown out of the team like Tolu.
Na wa ooo... na so u don troway Tolu, once termed a real Eagle by you, like that😂😂😂

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by TheSuperNerd(m): 8:55pm On Jan 16
He is not just the future. He is the present. It says a lot about his quality that he took command of the RCB position and made it his. Benching experienced performers like Afcon 2023 MVP, Ekong and Afcon-battle hardened Ajayi. Awaziem with his experience too stood no chance.

I am happy to have more options like Nwaiwu, Osuji and co come in but Benjy is very special and has earned his place in the plans of Coach Chelle in defence.

Yes I did oo. I'm not the one who threw him out, it's Chelle and even at that nobody can shut the door permanently to any player cos with Uzoho and Onuachu making this afcon team, any player can reclaim his place.

I read that Tolu couldn't jump to nod. Eagle that cannot fly, is that one an Eagle?

An unpopular opinion.... based on what I saw of Bassey, that guy was just throwing long range missiles to their intended target. Isn't it time we tried him as a defensive midfielder....?

You shock? Cos the way I see it, he will do well. He has the physicality. Comfortable on the ball and his delivery has been spot on. Reminds me of Sunday Oliseh and his long range assists and passing.

Might not be a bad idea hey? At least he won't be muscled off the ball

Good thing he is young
But with Onuachu scoring in this AFCON, Tolu will need to work really hard to get a look in

Hosting two Afcons within 3 years is nothing but a fraud but in this motsepe regime nothing is impossible! Morocco could as well be designated host permanently! Nonsense and ingredients
Do the calms bro.

News just broke that Botswana will put in a joint bid alongside South Africa to host the 2028 AFCON.

Mzansi are favourably disposed to it, and with Patrice Motsepe being from SA and the Southern Africa region, the Botswana-South Africa 2028 AFCON is a forgone conclusion.

Aaah, thank God.

Dt backdoor talk na mumu talk …Wc one is backdoor ..so playing ineligible players as alleged by nff is front door? Nigerians and doing unnecessary bigmanism
