former Westham youth player
Nigeria has so many football talents than we know to do with

Another challenge is getting this guys to commit because by default, many of them want to play for European teams

Which agreement? You Maduka fanboys are terrible people and will never accept the truth about your fav even when it stares you in the face.

Oma Akatugba is the sports journalist who brought Maduka Okoye to limelight when he was playing in Fortuna Dusseldorf II in the German 3rd division and promoted him to Gernot Rohr who extended Super Eagles invitation to him. Oma is based in Germany and is close to Maduka and his family, and knows him well.

Oma even got into an online spat with another sports journalist MikeThePundit on X who called him out for promoting Okoye to the National team and Okoye's decision.

Below is an excerpt from Leadership newspaper on the Maduka issue.

https://leadership.ng/why-okoye-moffi-arokodare-others-were-left-out-of-super-eagles-afcon-squad/

Una fav Maduka Okoye tried to blackmail Chelle and sabotage our AFCON campaign and should never be invited to the Super Eagles ever again. EOD.
Ok sah, ah don hands up sah 😁😁

These one Dem fit give you gun, you no go waste time give Okoye groundnut chop 🤣🤣🤣🏃🏃🏃🏃🏃

A good player . If not for Westerhof who gave Finidi George and Amocachi opportunities as home based players nobody will hear about them today . The coach should start give home base players opportunities. If Benjamin Fredrick was home based player he will not be invited

Yeah but an opportunity I would think to try out a lot of younger guys. But it seems Chelle takes it seriously, only 4 changes made from the Morocco game.

Thank you!!! Chelle isn't joking with it. I honestly would have thought it's an opportunity to give the other players an opportunity to just play. The result i believe doesn't matter to most of us but seems like it would be Chelle's first medal.

4-3-3

Bruno - Ogbu - Ajayi - Osayi

Bashiru - Onyedika - Chukwueze

Simon - Onuachu - Adams

Not a fan of this overloaded/top heavy side from Chelle.

I would have liked to see Nnadi start over Chuks or have Chuks start instead of Adams. Get proper wingers to support Onuachu. Then a midfield three of Dele, Onyedika and Nnadi…

Chelle sometimes sha..

Getting them to commit would no had been bad if our football house are in order,

Not with these one we hire three coaches last year alone, with the third one still in charge,

And the trigger happy mufos might decide to sack him too

Naija has never lost the 3rd place match and I don’t think Chelle wants to lose on his watch.

Hopefully we can win early and get on some new faces.

NFF is to blame. Our FA is not stable. Look at Senegal or Morocco, they’re getting the talented youth to commit early.

If our footballing house were in order we’d be getting all these guys to commit early.

Is this a good Idea?

How do you think this would compare to the AFCON in terms of prestige?

Any worries about player health?

Are we forseeing morocco continued antics with this new tournament?
That is errant nonsense from CAF, and must be rejected, we are still sweating from that wafu nonsense and now he wants to extend it to senior football,

That man well at all
