Joebie:
Onuachu is tall. his natural arm position will definitely be where it was. Did he swing his elbows? That is the big question.
I believe because that defender was challenging for the ball

Moniter0:
the kind of passes that chukwueze is giving to Onuachu is the kind of passes that Osihmen thrives on due to his speed. Osihmen should be playing in this game.
You too know ball.

Guyyyyyyy. Except Osimhen misses o, he for don wake Rashidi Yekini spirit by now 😮‍💨😮‍💨

Joebie:
bro.. that you even went to see it on the VAR screen and still ruled that goal out. I was talking to my wife yesterday and I told her that the big teams who felt hard done by, by officiating should send their home based teams in future AFCONs as a protest. I will say focus on the main prize which is the world cup.. We are not trying to settle scores with other African teams. Let's go make big statement at the world stage until CAF put their acts together
I agree if this is the rubbish we’ll continue to see at Afcon 😂 I now wonder what’s even the need of the VAR now.

Osayi and Aina, totally different profiles but, at this point, I will say they are at par generally speaking.
I said it earlier
Aina will not walk into this 11 easily
Osayi will give him a good fight

Chelle bring in your strong 11 jare…win this 3rd place and keep our record intact abeg….History has it that almost all our strong starting 11 in past afcon are always use to execute afcon 3rd place match…especially your strong frontline….
Ayegbeni scored against Mali in 2002 3rd place
Okocha and Osaze scored against Mali in 2004 3rd place match
Garba Lawal scored against Senegal in 2006 3rd place
Nsofor scored against Algeria in the 2010 3rd place
Ighalo score against Tunisia in 2019

abeg abeg carry Osimhen,Lookman and Iwobi enter for second half abeg
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 6:02pm On Jan 17
he may have moved it slightly, but it was natural because he was getting ready for a jump. I think the referee took the easier decision. But that wasn't an intentional elbowing

I so much believed that if he was subbed in on time and we played with 2 wingers to stretch the Moroccans we may have won that game

I was about saying if not that Iwobi loves the number 17 so much, why would Dele Bashiru be putting on the number 10? grin

That number is heavy and Bashiru hasn't done anything to justify wearing it so far.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Joebie: 6:05pm On Jan 17
No, Aina wouldn't just walk back in, in my opinion. Even Fredericks wouldn't just walk back in. Ajayi has been very solid.. he has speed damn. I'm not saying Osayi and Ajayi are better but they are near perfect doing their job.

Chelle made a mistake not subbing him in against Morocco on time
my thinking exactly. Lookman and Akor were not really in the game. The Moroccans had specially designed a response to Lookman.

'Mind not really in this game in terms of result but seen the entire 1st 45 quietly.

Ajayi showed how fast he could get in one good defensive moment to hold off Mostafa. Been solid as always this tournament.

Onyedika has been brilliant getting us forward towards the final third with his passes. Again, the narrative want to force he is bad because of only one moment he was caught in possession. They see that and ignore most of the first half where he was simply too good on the ball. This is the guy that has been distributing the ball forwarx through the middle while also doing a decent enough job defensively so far. Keep agending.

Chukwueze showing his spritely creative qualities. Unfortunate to see his assist cancelled. He is showing Chelle he missed a plot not bringing him in earlier than 119mins.

Onuachu was unlucky to get that yellow. Yes, his elbow made contact with Fathi but na him height I blame. He is bloody tall. The egyptian defender simply walked into Onuachu's elbow. Lol... the height difference made this possible.

Ogbu has been good. Showed it vs Uganda. Showing it again today.

Simon has not been bad too. He has even created one of our better chances.

The two fullbacks need no further praise. They have been good especially Osayi again. God! The way this man has played at Afcon 2025, it is scary ooo coz this man is meant to be our 2nd choice RB! Aina has a big fight on his hands.

FDB has complemented Onyedika to a decent level but needs to be more vertical thinking in his passing.

Nwabali... Man has been calm. No stress.

2nd 45 about to start...

dem don already fight prove themselves. The other duo will need to show that they deserve to reclaim their shirts o
But all the same they are all class in their own right, and have different strengths. That is the depth we want in all the departments

Aina has a big fight on his hands.

But you see Frederick, he will bench Ajayi as always. A fit frederick is not gonna be kept waiting for others to show stuff. He brings a lot more to the defence at RCB than Ajayi.
