ChrisKels:Nna he isn’t better than those he met in the team I bet you that if he was Chelle won’t shy away from giving him a chance He is still young and should continue developing his game by seeing more playing time in Italy |

BankyGee:Though I understand your point, but someone cheated you, turned around to console you, and you are here feeling so happy that you were consoled? Are you that cheap? By the way, No dey take things from Truidstar, Meliforme, Philosopher, MetalJigsaw and Bluelf to heart. Those ones alongside Aforbeer are here to entertain us. Just read their posts if you want and keep scrolling. I would have added TheGoodjoe too but that one dey make sense, just that he too like argument and never likes to see things from different angles. He knows it all ![]() |

Papi85:I would have preferred they left him out to continue his growth in Italy. Also, a few minutes in our last group game wouldn't hurt. |

Papi85:Chelle really annoyed me against Tunisia but the guy is good. I want him to stay. |

Kog45:Elder, pls talk am straight and no dey pass through the corners. After that nonsense Ejuke played when he came in against Tunisia, he deserved to chop bench for the rest of the tournament. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Odunayaw(m): 7:18am On Jan 18 |
Meliforme:😆😂 I like how you worded it yet can't see you're destroying your point. The fact you're saying He took our team already shows you know they were the lesser team |

Goke7:😆 Na why I like Joe, most consistent in his beliefs no matter how lofty and impractical it is |

Mujtahida:Till now I'm yet to understand why of all things Nigeria chose football to be saintly The way we believe in fairness to our opponents when for every other thing "wisdom" is encouraged en The nonsense they did with Nwabali's towel en. Make dem just put us for the next AfconQ group |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Odunayaw(m): 7:28am On Jan 18 |
😆 What is this Moniter0:Since you've decided to be thick let me use simpler words. Outcomes isn't a yardstick for how intentional or nonchalant a penalty kick is. Iwobi's body language was jittery, his pk was poor but he scored. Accusers of Chukwueze only care about the outcome really. |

ChrisKels:Thank God you sha understand the point, na the koko be that 😂 They'll pay for the cheating too someday, make we catch them without their antics first. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by BankyGee(m): 7:43am On Jan 18 |

| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by BankyGee(m): 7:45am On Jan 18 |
Papi85:Exactamente. Many countries now just dey wait to hear HERE WE GO, NFF sacks Éric Chelle, the way them go rush am ehn. Omo the chemistry in this team is on a high now and Éric Chelle's scouting abilities are topnotch. He'll improve this team more before next year seff. |

mostob:Me I want Morocco to cheat them too and win o, no be my head the cheating suppose end 😭 Some no-football-knowledged fans go come use the Senegal win start dey talk down on Super Eagles, forgetting how the cheating disrupted our game plan. The only thing that'll make me support Senegal winning, na if they win on penalties.

| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by BankyGee(m): 7:54am On Jan 18 |
ChrisKels:Make he come observe how tournament atmosphere look like. Na psychological preparation for when he go get him chance, he no go use am play. Ask Bruno Onyemaechi, even though Peseiro was very wrong to keep him on the bench all through the last AFCON, now wey he get chance he hold am with four hands. No be everything gats be physical, some na mental. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by semid4lyfe(mod): 7:55am On Jan 18 |
Papi85:Shout it from the rooftops. Carry megaphone enter market. I stand gidigba in support of Eric Chelle. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by BankyGee(m): 7:57am On Jan 18 |
ChrisKels:That's the thing with him, he learns quick and corrects his mistakes quick as well. He knows his onions. After the Tunisia match, we have been eating good, aren't we? 😏 I no even vex for am for the Tunisia match. It was just one or two that didn't go well that day. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Mujtahida: 7:57am On Jan 18 |
Papi85:Me I dey pray for Chelle to be sacked. Since we don't have sense. |

| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by BankyGee(m): 8:03am On Jan 18 |
semid4lyfe:And someone is saying Chelle should be sacked. Omo anybody can chop bench till eternity under this man or not even get called up again, ask that guy wey him headers dey always go up. Under previous coaches, you can predict call up list and complete starting XI no matter the rubbish wey the player play. If Chukwueze can chop bench most times now, why Ejuke no go buy seat belt for him own bench? All is to bring out the best in all of them sha. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by mrwilliams9(m): 8:04am On Jan 18 |
Joezinho:Omo I asked the same thing. But to be honest, just because a PK goes in doesn’t mean it’s good. Iwobi’s PK could easily have been saved had the keeper gone the right way. A good PK is one a keeper has no chance of saving. High and into the top corner. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by BankyGee(m): 8:05am On Jan 18 |
Odunayaw:I swear this game and result for sweet had it been na for group stages or qualifying we play Morocco and it ended that way. But in knockouts one person must go. 🤧 |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by mrwilliams9(m): 8:07am On Jan 18 |
Meliforme:Some of his in-game management/reading of the game needs work but the performances and results have improved. He should stay on through the next two AFCONs and WCQ cycle. |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Odunayaw(m): 8:09am On Jan 18 |
Mujtahida:Especially on penalties |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by mrwilliams9(m): 8:09am On Jan 18 |
Odunayaw:Tournament football is different from league ball. You only have to perform for 6-7 games at a high level vs over 34-38 games. This is why I think Nwabali should remain out no. 1 |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by minfelix(m): 8:11am On Jan 18 |
Ihenzy:Baba penalty na game of luck, if you are lucky to follow the ball’s directions, you will 95% likely save it, especially the grass ball penalties |
| Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by mrwilliams9(m): 8:23am On Jan 18 |
segestical10:Same thing I said. Those PKs were saveable just that the keeper went the wrong way. A good penalty is one hit with power and direction. If well hit, the keeper can’t save it. |
