Too annoying.

If I list some of the "Grade A" coaches wey Éric Chelle don beat with both Mali and Nigeria, you go fear. Make them dey play.
If you do, the guy go change mouth to quality of players like say we asides quality strikers we get players like that

No be African teams get players for Mancity and Real Madrid? Him think say once all your players play for oyingbo dem better pass every other team.

Super Eagles stars Victor Osimhen, Paul Onuachu and team captain Wilfred Ndidi have returned to Turkey following Nigeria’s AFCON 2025 outing and will miss the official medal presentation.

The trio, who are all based in the Turkish Super Lig, departed immediately after Friday night’s match on a private jet arranged at the request of their respective clubs.

People kept making excuses for Zaidu due to his defensive contributions in a Haram football under Jpez.

Today, we are an attacking side and if as a full back you can't contribute nothing offensively, then you will have to say bye to the team.

Bruno did not only contribute offensively but kept Diaz, Brahimi, Salah, Mahrez, Moussa quiet.

The Moroccan coach.
The Egyptian coach.

With the quality in our hands and with a sound coach, we should be the best in Africa.
hope its not that same coach that oversaw the abomination football against SA and senegal you are ranking above chelle?

Even the Moroccan coach did not outcoach Chelle. Let them meet on a neutral turf. Did you see what verydarkman said about the crowd?
Bro, apart from the crowd, we can argue that Chelle was outclassed by the Moroccan Coach

There's some element of truth in what meliforme said but I still think that on neutral ground, Morocco won't perform as they did this AFCON because the officiating was very poor

That's why I think they may not go far in the world cup. Moat likely, a second round exit.

What I do know is Chelle has shown signs of growth albeit slow. So, we should keep him but you can't say that the Moroccan coach didn't do a bit better than him (crowd or not)

Same thing I said. Those PKs were saveable just that the keeper went the wrong way.

A good penalty is one hit with power and direction. If well hit, the keeper can’t save it.
Salah penalty was well hit

Eric Chelle on plans post-Afcon

“My mission is to keep this group [of players], if I am still the coach of Nigeria’s Super Eagles of course.” - Eric Chelle, after winning the AFCON 2025 Bronze🥉
he keeps insisting on the condition of being here after the afcon. Was his contract a short term one?

So what was the reason for keeping Akin away from serie A matches that will help him grow if we had no plan of giving him even a single minute in the AFCON?
should have just left him there. Apart from a bronze medal, that boy just came here to waste time.
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by Hardrive(m): 10:14am On Jan 18
The major problem Eric Chelle has is that if he is faced with a problem on the field and he needs to change something, his solution is to change the positions of the players on the pitch rather than change the approach to the game to make it easy for the team to play well.

Our stats shows that for everytime we have 2 strikers playing up front our chances of scoring a goal increases. At the same time, our gameplay is now very dynamic in that we can play with the ball on the ground as well as in the air within the course of the game.

Anytime the game is not working for us we have to switch to making sure the strikers get the ball in the air. The second half of most of our matches has been very poor. Everybody talking about how our defense is solid don't know that the best form of defense is attack. If your attackers are on top of their game for 90+ minutes, your defense would have less to do.

Our national teams are edging closer to being unstoppable at every level of football if we get it right with the senior national team.

If you want to know how to be a good problem solver as a football fan of your team, most especially when your team is finding it difficult to score goals and win games, your check if your team is playing to the strength of your best players on the pitch

Where you have good headers of the ball find a way to play the game in a way that would suit them. It is only when that has happened that you can say the player is not good and needs to go based on ability. E.g onuachu. Not using lookman , a player who needs freedom to play his game behind two strikers , in the position of a second striker.

I'm sure a lot of people don't understand what we play in the second half of most matches.

I wondering why the coach refused to give Akinsanmiro just 10minutes , he came all the way from Seria A going back to his club without playing a single game . Too bad 😔 I don't know what assistant coach normally tell him . Akinsanmiro should have been allow to stay in Seria A and develop his game ..

Honestly, I really don't see how Morocco outclassed Chelle. That's a gross exaggeration. If you say that the DRC coach outclassed Chelle, I would agree cos we were restricted to our half of the pitch. But not so Morocco. Both teams had a go at each other, Morocco was marginally better. Emphasis on marginal.

The reason why you guys say that he outclassed Chelle is because you expected us to win. That speaks more to how Chelle has raised the standard. The moment that didn't happen, it became a matter of him being outclassed by Regrugui.

Make he come observe how tournament atmosphere look like. Na psychological preparation for when he go get him chance, he no go use am play. Ask Bruno Onyemaechi, even though Peseiro was very wrong to keep him on the bench all through the last AFCON, now wey he get chance he hold am with four hands.

No be everything gats be physical, some na mental.
We stood better chance to win 2023 AFCON but Paseiro gave Ivory coast the trophy . He made wrong selections even when Zaidu was tired 😩 he prefers tired Zaidu to Bruno ..

Lacked direction
Relatively central

Una go just wan use English confuse people. A PK that was played with shot and above the ground and also at the far right, you say na relatively central.

That was a well taken penalty that met a save to match.

I hope NFF will get to work now and renew Eric's contract with a view of extension, and then we also need to be in the shopping window ahead of the upcoming international friendly matches, lots of world cup bound teams in Europe and South America will be looking for top African sides to play as a way to size up African teams in their group, and this Nigerian team especially under Chelle will be a beautiful bride for teams looking to play a top ranked side...it will also provide us the opportunity to see newer players like Philip Otele, Durosinmi, Nnadi, Akinsamiro, David Moses, Nwaiwu etc with the established players already.

Abi how you take see am?
